This week has been the best for me so far since the return of sbd, last week I powered up about 59 steems, before I saw the contest, so I couldn't make some screenshots but this week I decided to hold my peace wait for my post to payout, while it paid out gradually I kept converting my sbd to steems.

The D-day finally arrived and my target was not just to power up my steems but to belong to club75, so I powered 83.892 steems today to belong to club75 and also hit my all time high of 600+sp. Please don't take this achievement as a small feat. I still have plans of powering up more and I wish the week will bless me to do so.

So this power up was initiated yesterday at about 17:49 UTC, on the steempro app. The processes are shown below, it is in an orderly manner. Before that let me tell you how to power up. The powering up process is not done anywhere but on the steempro app where we have the wallet.

Login to your wallet using your active key. After logging in, Go to where you have your liquid steems, click on the 3 dot by the side of your steems, A dialog box will appear with icon like transfer, power up etc. Click on the power up icon, then you will be directed to a page where you insert the amount of steems to power up. I click on the steem amount I saw on the insertion box and the whole steems appear there.

I clicked on power up and the process began. Since I already logged into my account using the activekey, I wasn't asked to provide my password i.e active key. So the process begins and ends as my wallet balance becomes zero.

As a steemian, if you are not powering up, you are wrong, powering puts you in a club depending on the amount powered up, being in the club helps you win contests. The power up process helps prove to steemit team your stand on the platform. Steemit needs a large number of people to hold a high amount of the currency and this is possible by powering up 50% earnings, 75% earnings or 100% earnings.
