Contest| Mother’s Day | 2024

Hello guys,
It's a pleasure on my path to share with you all my entries in this week's contest which is titled "Mother’s Day | 2024" which was organized by @deepak94. It is an interesting contest and I would love to drop my entry ASAP.

Before we go ahead I would like to invite @dave-hanny, @rakiya, and @ruthjoe to join this contest in this community today and share their participation as well, I do hope to see and read your entries as well.

Every year we celebrate mother's day and this year is not different we are also celebrated mother's day here in where I stay. As a Christian, we celebrated our mothers day just yesterday in my church.

I'm not staying close to my mother hence I didn't celebrate the mother's day with her. Though I celebrated it in my own little way. As early as 6:00 a.m, before I went to church I called her and then I wished her happy mother's day and as it is in her custom, she prayed for me over the phone and then wish me more success in all I do.

It is a call that took about 10 minutes because we had to discuss a few things before the prayer section. It was a wonderful day for me as it started with a blessing from my dear mother. Immediately after my call with her, I prepared and went to the church since it is the day of celebration also here in my church.

The celebration here in the church was very amazing because the women dressed in their uniform and everyone was so happy seeing the mother's do their presentation to entertain everyone in the church. A few people who are with their mother in the church gave them physical gift and it was really amazing I must say.

I wasn't able to gift my mother anything tangible because I wasn't close to her at the moment but I'm planning on doing something very special for her in the upcoming Christmas celebration because by the Grace I will be celebrating with her.

So for this year's mother's day, since I wasn't close to my biological mother I joined all the mother's in my church for the celebration and the celebration was really awesome and I can't wait to have such celebration next time especially with my mother in the picture.

That is my story of how the mother's day for this year was spent. I had fun because of the presentation made by the mother's in the church and many others things like the refreshment and the encouragement they gave to all of us the youths of the church. I'm sure that the next mother's day celebration will be more beautiful since I'm going to be celebrating it with my mother.
