Dear Diary,
I have come to my village after around three months and enjoying every moment here. Today, I woke up early in the morning. Then me, my nephew and niece dicided to visit river bank. Yesterday we notice there were catkin flower. Spring season is going on and in this season river bank were full of catkin flowers. Here catkin flowers are very common as Bangladesh is a riverine country. The local or Bangla name of this flower is Kashful a white flower. We went there and enjoyed the beautiful of those beautiful flowers. I love this flowers. We took photos of flowers and ours. Green grass, trees, rivers, and flowers all around are a stunning sight that will leave anyone mesmerized. This place is not only beautiful, but the cool breeze blows here all the time. I took some pictures to share with you.
Then we back to home and take some rest. We weren’t tired because river bank is very close to my home. One of our relative give us roasted pulses and fried peas. These foods are not very expensive. These will cost 1 or 1.5 steem but me and the kids have a lot of fun eating them. After eating these we have lunch. The lunch menu was dal, beef and boiled rice. All of us in the family eat lunch together.
Today we visited a relative's home near our home. Their home is very close so we reached there by walking. While going there we see big bamboo plants. These are called Raj Bash in the local language. By searching Google, I found out that these relatively large bamboos are called giant bamboos. Its scientific name is Dendrocalamus giganteus. While returning from there we were mesmerized by the beauty of the autumn sky. White clouds are floating in groups in the blue sky. I love the autumn sky. I take some pictures of this incredibly beautiful sky.
Jhalmuri (spice puffed rice) is a very popular dish of the village. It is a kind of street food. This food is sold from one place to another in a food van. We bought jhalmuri from jhalmuri seller. It is served on paper and paper is also given as a spoon. Comparative cardboards are used as spoons. We buy jhalmuri for 20 bdt or 1.2 stee and bring it from the front of the home.
In the evening, my nephew and niece went to their maternal grandparents house. Then I again went to the river bank. I like to spend time here. There is a place used as pasturage. There were some cows eating grass. I took photo of this view.
