In fields of gold and green,
The farmers toil and glean,
Their hands in soil, earthy and pure,
Their crops, their life, they endure.
From sowing to reaping,
Their labor is unceasing,
The rains, the sun, the wind,
Their bounty, they hope to bind.
The bullock, the plough,
Their tools to till and bow,
The seeds, the fertilizers,
Their magic, they realize.
The wheat, the rice, the lentil,
Their harvest, they kindle,
The markets, the buyers, the demand,
Their income, they expand.
In fields of hope and toil,
The farmers strive and boil,
Their spirit, their passion, their love,
Their land, their heritage, they prove.
