This is my second time doing this power up post since I resumed back to steemit around October after many years. Whenever I’m getting close to doing my “power up”, something funny must actually happen…

Once upon a time on a peaceful day, when i was thinking of a post that I will make that will attract “curator01”, a friend of mine just came up in our WhatsApp group and told us steem dollar is gone.. I was so worried, because I’m actually the type that normally wait for one month before I redeem my reward to rate my performance if I was doing well or not.
In order to avoid what happened to my “TRX” to happen to my “SBD” I quickly went to redeem my reward.

I was lucky this time around. My Steem dollar was save and sound. It had a smooth flight to my wallet. Unlike “TRX” that keep crashing along the way. I am still wondering were all the “TRX” is going to since it’s not landing in our wallet anymore.
My plans of waiting till month ending was cut short thanks to my friend that came up with that chat… but like the saying goes:
it’s better to be safer than sorry.
I had to redeem the rewards quickly. It’s far safer in my wallet than it hanging around mid air because I was taking unawares. Lol
I’ve always find it hard knowing the days left before I “power up”, except I go through the long route of going down my previous post to search how many days left.
Thanks to our moderators, they alerted me that it was time for “power up” through one of the contest I did yesterday.
So, that’s what prompted my call to action for todays challenge. If you notice, the S.P had increased due to a contest I won.
After redeeming the reward. You can see the slight increase in all of them.
Now it was time to power up. I tried to convert “SBD” into steem but it was showing me some stuff I’ve know idea about.
I was expecting to see maybe “power up” or “convert to steem”. But instead, I saw this. I decided to ignore and leave it for December 31st. Let me see if I will actually achieve my target of 1000 steem that I set for myself. Before then, I must have Learnt how to convert to steem, then power up.
I had to move to steem, the one I’m more familiar with now. All those challenges I encountered during my first ”power up”, I passed it. I’m now a pro.
Well, the idea for me this period since I returned October, was gathering as many steem power as possible. So, playing by those club rules has never been my thing. I decided to power everything up.
Maybe, from January 1st, I’ll start playing by the club rules by keeping some steem to myself but till then, I need to grow my S.P.
As you can see, I’ve done the power up. You will notice the difference in my steem power. It has increased.
Well, from what I’m seeing, it seems my chances of achieving the 1k sp is quite slim before 31st but I’ll still try my best and see what good comes up from this SBD, I’ve left and what I raised from the steem left.

He who has power and money has control over everything. Same thing applies to steemit. When you have high steem power, you have a significant level control.
Imagine, been a whale one day because of the steem power, your followers will sky rocket over night. Everyone will struggling to gain your attention. You will be like a steemit celebrity.
But like the saying goes,
with great power, comes great responsibility.
When, you have steem powers, is only cool you give back to the same community that helped you by upvoting others and the advantage of it is that, you are liable to a high percentage of the authors payout when it’s been distributed to voter’s because you have a higher steem power.
NB: pls don’t ruin d suspense for me by telling me what my sbd will give me if converted. We will do it together..
