Hello steemians… happy new year to you all.

Hope you all had a great time during the festive season. The holidays are now over, is now time for work!! Work!! Work!!!

Well, I’m back here to keep my promise that I made earlier regarding my Steem power.

Remember, I told you guys I was going to come back again to convert my Steem dollars to steem and hopefully, i will reach my 1000 steem power benchmark I gave myself before the year ends… well, it didn’t work out as planned. I guess I’ve not been doing well enough but I still appreciate the support and love I’ve gotten from my Steemit friends here to have moved from 0 to 777 Steem power in just three months since I returned back. You guys are the best.

Let’s get down to the business of the day!!

Step 1

After the last power Down I did, I was having nothing and that was my account balance as displayed below.

Step 2

I am still wondering what I was thinking but I actually forgot to screenshot my “claim rewards” like I do for other ones. But thankGod, I was able to see it in my steem wallet history.

Step 3

After claiming my rewards, I went to ahead to practice what I’ve learned on “YouTube” on how to convert my steem dollars to Steem. The videos were really helpful.

I went to the market to check out how much 7.112 sbd will give to me in steem and it gave me 127steem.

Step 4

Creating an order

Instead of buying it at that rate, I decided to try out a new trick I learned as well by “creating an order”. I really don’t know how to explain it but the simplest way I can put it is that, instead of using up the whole 7sbd to buy 127 steem, I could buy that same 127 steem at a lesser amount.

As you can see now, from the order i created, I would know longer buy 127 steem at 7sbd. I’m now buying it at 6.5 sbd. This was done two days ago.

Step 5

I became tired of waiting for my “created order” to fill up. I had to cancel the order and placed another order today. Luckily for me the 7sbd that was giving me 127 steem two days ago, increased to 130 steem.

As you can see, my sbd has converted. I’m now having 166 steem. How I got such amount is “130 steem plus my 36 steem claimed rewards.”

Finally powered up the whole steem 100%

Importance of powering Up

• When you power Up consistently, you give value each time you upvote other people’s posts.

• By powering up, it makes “steem” scarce. When that happens, the demand for it becomes higher, thereby forcing the price of steem to go high in price.

• By powering up, you become like a Demi-god when have high steem power because followers will troop you like the way “ant gathers sugar”. If you think I’m lying ask steemcurator 1 and 2….. lol

I think I have tried. Powering up everything I’ve got this pass 3 months. Is now time for me to start obeying the rules of “club75”. At least, that way I can some percentage for myself in case of emergency.
