Hello, my dearest buddies. Good day to everyone. I'm here today to take part in the power-up contest, which was organized by @jyoti-thelight through the Hind Whale Community.
The above is the screenshot of my wallet; right now, I have 139.056 liquid steem and 9129.515 steem power. By participating in this contest, I decided to convert 100 liquid steem from my wallet into steem power.
Because it is required to demonstrate the powering up procedure, I will show you how I did it step by step.
First, I logged into my profile using my private posting key and then clicked the steem arrow in my wallet. The above image appeared.
To begin my power-up process, I clicked the power-up button as indicated in the picture below.
Then the image of 'Covert to STEEM POWER' showed; that because I needed to power up 100 of my liquid steem, I entered 100 in the amount column and clicked the power up button, as shown in the image below.
When I did this, I was asked to confirm the transfer of vesting, so I clicked the 'OK' button to confirm it.
Later, I signed with my active key to complete my transfer. Finally, you can see in my wallet that after powering up, my liquid steem decreased to 39.056 but my steem power increased to 9229.625.
My dear friend, you may be wondering why I did this power up. Yes, I will explain the cause of my power up. You are all aware that the steem power in our wallets is the most important component of our profile. When we have a large amount of steem power in our wallet, we may have a significant influence on the steemit platform.
Not only that, but it will help me advance to the next dolphin level soon. It also helps to enhance my reputation. Furthermore, my vote has great importance and helps me to receive a higher percentage of the Curation reward.
The most important thing of my power up is that the steem power in our wallet demonstrates our long-term commitment to the platform, which is extremely beneficial to both the user who powers up and the community. Therefore, my dear friends, I encourage you to constantly convert your liquid steem into steem power.
