Celebrated Ganesh Chaturti in Nearby temple

Good day. I am Saravanan from India. Well it was a wonderful day we celebrated this day Ganesh Chathurthi, we locally call it as Vinayaga Chaturthi.

In Hindu Lord Ganesha is considered as the primary god. So we each and every festival first priority goes to Lord Ganesha. Like that Ganesh Chathurthi is the day for Lord Ganesha. We can see celebration everywhere like in every streets can see the decorated Lord Ganesha near temples.

On that day Lord Ganesha big statue made of clay will be bought from shop and well decorated and keep near temples for people to worship and get blessings from Lord Ganesha. We will keep Lord Ganesha big statue for few more days for people to visit and get blessings. After that Lord Ganesha will be taken in Chariot around the Street looks like God will come to our home and give blessings. Later we will take to nearby water resources like pond or river or sea to dissolve the Clay Statue of Lord Ganesha.

This means that God living with us Ganesh Chathurthi festival and he finally dissolved into land, water and air to protect the world from negativity. So we will celebrate well for Ganesh Chathurthi whole week.

On that day I went to nearby Ganesha temple where they decorated well and I could see more people are there so the place is very crowded. So I stayed in the queue and then slowly moved to the temple. I have attached few photos which I have taken on that day. The queue moved slowly so I also went inside and worshiped. They organized some events on that day so that the people cannot get tired while waiting in the queue. After that finally entered into temple waiting for more than 2 hours in queue. This was a amazing experience.
