This is a great topic, the increasing interference of internet and social media in our society has greatly affected our lives, our relationships, our social bonds. If there are 6 members in our house, then all of them are busy using social media on their mobile, laptop, computer, or any other device.

And due to these reasons, our relationships do not have the strength and affection that they used to have in the earlier times.

What are the qualities of a strong and healthy family relationship?

I do not only believe but I am fully convinced that to keep the mutual relationship of any healthy family strong, we need feelings of love, harmony, dignity, dedication, trust, cooperation and respect among all the members.

If we keep thinking only about our own selfishness and benefits, then any family can fall apart. It is very important for us to respect the elders in the family, love the younger ones and give them time. We have to treat every member of our family, whether he is young or old, by giving full attention to their feelings and understanding their heart.

We should avoid the small mistakes of our family members. And we should talk to them and make them realize their mistakes, and explain them to correct them. Giving too much importance to anything makes the situation explosive.

To keep the atmosphere of the house the same, we should talk on light and funny topics, plan to go out together. Keep organizing small events at home.

How can technology affect family dynamics and relationships?

We consider this increasing technology to be the reason for our family disintegration, there is no doubt about it, but this is not the only reason, in fact our values are declining, our mental state is making us lonely, our hectic life and greed to earn money are hurting our social and family relationships.

The growing trend of social media has reduced communication between family members. Most of the people are busy in making reels, sending messages, reading messages, and making and watching videos in their own way. Due to this, we do not get time to talk and listen to family matters.

And we are not able to express our frustration, we keep suffocating inside. And then either we go into depression or spoil our relationship.

Why is communication important in maintaining good relationships?

You are absolutely right, to maintain good relationships, we need mutual dialogue, coordination, a harmonious environment. We should listen to the problems of all the members of the house and think of ways to solve them, otherwise sometimes a small problem takes a terrible form.

We should take out time for the whole family to sit together once a week. And if possible, we should have one meal together. We should go out with the whole family for an outing once in a month or two. This increases the bonding of our family members.

We should know how to forgive, we should not criticize others all the time, we should appreciate the work of children from time to time. We should assure all our family members that we stand with them in their good and bad times.

This increases the morale and confidence of everyone.
