I am very happy with the timing of Deepak Soni ji in discussing this topic on such an occasion.

One country one vote A competition has been organized on the importance of voting in your country when phased elections are being held in 543 parliamentary constituencies of the country to select the central government.

Voting System in your Country

Our country is considered to be the largest democracy in the world, here after 5 years the local MPs are elected by the Election commission in a democratic manner by every Indian citizen by casting his/her vote. For this the age limit has been fixed at 18 years or more.

All the citizens of the country who are 18 years of age or above, and their name is mentioned in the electoral roll issued by the Election Commission of the Government of India, can cast their vote by going to the polling booth of their home area. Freedom is available to all citizens of India, irrespective of their religion, caste or sect.

How election held in your country

This time, to make the election system of our country safer and more effective, elections are being conducted in a phased manner in 7 cycles. In these 3 cycles, elections for about 50 percent of the seats have been conducted without any violence or fighting.

The elections for the remaining 4 cycles are scheduled to be held on different dates till 1 June 2024. For which people from different parties are engaged in the election campaign of their candidates.

The results of the elections will be declared on June 4, 2024 and whichever party proves its majority in the Parliament will form the government which will function uninterrupted for the next 5 years.

To elect the government of our country, there is an independent Election Commission, whose head is the Chief Election Commissioner and he is not under control the government.He is independent body and can take their decision independently to make polices.

Electronic voting machines are used in the elections of our country, no kind of dishonesty or fraud is expected in it.

This time a vv pet machine has also been attached with these machines. Due to this, the voter sees his vote being cast in front of his eyes, which political party or person he has voted for.

At present, people from different parties in our country are engaged in vigorous campaigning in their constituencies and are telling the public about each other's shortcomings and also the advantages of their election.

I have full confidence that by the end of June the elections will be held peacefully and the country will get a democratically elected government for the next 5 years.
