"Pick a Word, Paint a Story #03"

HOME

I am also very happy that our respected @senehasa ji has chosen very beautiful topics, but I liked the topic "Home" the most because I am a homely person.

Many people think that buildings made of bricks, bars, cement and stones are called home, but in reality home means a place where all the members of the family live together happily and do all the work together.

The most important thing is that whatever we all become in our lives, we become it from within the four walls of this house. According to me, home is an institution that builds our primary foundation, in this house we are given basic education to give values, respect for elders, love for younger ones. In this house we are taught to walk, talk, eat and drink and mostly good things.

I also believe that whether we make our home a temple or a shrine or a house of quarrels, fights and contempt, it is the collective responsibility of all our family members. In today's modern society, nuclear families are being promoted.

Now a days most of the new couples are preferring their own nuclear homes instead of joint families, because they want to avoid accepting the bonds of joint families, whereas in our joint family homes we get security, freedom, satisfaction, freedom from worries.

The real home is the one in which all the family members, grandfather, grandmother, uncle, aunt, their children, aunts, brothers and sisters all live together in each other's happiness and sorrows. In these joint family homes, any member considers everything as his own, there is no yours or mine in it.

Whatever resources are there, they belong to everyone. In these homes, festivals, ceremonies etc. are celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy and gaiety. In such houses, when any calamity befalls one member, all the members of the house provide mental and physical help to that member.

In my own house, we are 6 members, my husband, my son, his wife and their 2 beautiful children, we all live together happily. In our house, we have divided the responsibilities among ourselves, like all the market related work of my house is done by my wife , earning money is done by me and my son, and my daughter-in-law does other household work like taking care of the house, preparing breakfast, food, and caring the children etc.

We all fulfill our responsibilities very well and always respect each other's feelings. My grandchildren are taught good and true values of our joint family life so that they can grow up and become successful people.

The citizens of any society and country have a very big role in building its future, and such good citizens are produced only from homes with good values.
