Good day fellow Steemians. I've just powered up for the 4th month and I'll be sharing with everyone each step I took to do that successfully.

• First I logged into my account, went to my profile and clicked on the wallet option which took me to my wallet area.

• I then clicked on the drop down arrow beside my steems and when the option displayed, I clicked on power up.

• It took to a different area where I had to fill in the number of Steems I wanted to power up. I filled in 40.000 and clicked on power up.

• I then confirmed the transfer by clicking on the "Ok" option provided in the next area.

• I was then asked for either my active key, owner key or master password. In this case, I provided my active key in the given space clicked on "Sign In".

• It took a few seconds to process and it was successful.

• Performaning power up increases your net worth in the platform.
• It increases your reputation in the platform and qualify you for certain positions.
• With high Steem power, you can express your votes in dollars on people's post.
• Power up serves as a saving box where you can save your steems.
• Powering up also helps the community as a whole to function properly and move forward.
• Lastly and personally, performaning power up will help me achieve my dream of being an Oscar in Steemit as such attainment requires a constant and high power ups.
