The Diary game: (23/3/2025) The revisit of culture

Yesterday morning, after waking up from sleep, we prayed and appreciated god for waking us, and we went to church at 6:00 a.m. After the sermon, we sang and danced to the glory of God, and when we returned home, we went for a revisit of culture. I was so happy yesterday because it's been a long time since this cultural dance was displayed.

Yesterday was fun it was a revisit of culture in our community, we have 13 local governments with different ethnic attires each one represents its culture and the people that it represents it has a unique definition to its colour and combination and a symbol of identification if you see a madaman you will know that he is a mada by his cultural appearance and if you see an eggon man you will surely identify him by his colour combination so are others

The Mada people were known as the best group of dancers across the state and their colour represents warriors that are like tigers fearless animals which means that the Mada people are fearless and have been known as the strong people in Nasarawa state

History states that Mada hunters were able to win victory on a battlefield which warranted them the tiger title and they made it one of their attires this attire is strictly used on festivities and a set aside cultural date their women on traditional weddings often used the colour for symbols of their people and love

They are very lovely and beautiful people God has made them unique and that is why everything about them is different, yesterday was a revisit of cultural attires which bring out their people in symbols of a spirit whose face cannot be seen by ordinary people it's baffled me that a person can stay cover in this attires for hours without getting tired of it and on top of that it's dance and display characters like gods

The Eggon people are one of a kind their colour combination is red and white which simplifies love and unity and these people are the pure definition of their colours because they like peace and unity in any aspect that you find them they always advocate peace their youth are known also for best dancers and they can go to any nation for their dancing skills and display

Yesterday both Eggon and Mada people came out in their attires to celebrate one of the greatest warriors in Eggon Land he died a year ago and this memorial was held in his name and that is why both people came out in massive groups to celebrate his greatness

He was a great father and a great warrior who brought about unity in the Eggon nation and as a unity and peace advocate he United the ethnic group that lives around him and that is why today is being held in his name the celebration was a massive one there was food drinks for everyone

This father lived a good life and he left a good legacy for his children and the people of his community that is why today is being celebrated as he was no more but his name still lives in their hearts and a
The good that he does while still alive still remains

That is why is good for you to leave a good legacy that can be celebrated even if you die some people live a life in which people pray for them to die because of their bad behaviour and when they die nobody leaves to remember them so try the best that you can and live a good life it has a reward
