Hello everyone here in Hindwhale community, thsi is my first time posting in the community and in fact, it's my first time posting since a long time. I hope I am welcome here.

To be honest, I was forced to power down almost all my Steem power because of financial issues and I hope you would understand. Also, I had been slow posting here since my home community, the Steemit Philippines slowed down too.

I would like to pick myself up from scratch and build myself again and I am hoping I would find a community that I would call a home.

Today, I was scrolling to the trending page in Steem and I found the Steem Engagement Challenge: I saw your community and decided to partake in thsi week's challenge which I can relate to and am Interested in; My favorite high School Subject. Without further ado, let me start my entry.

MY FAVORITE SUBJECT IS SCIENCE

During my high school days, My favorite subject was Science. It's been a while since I stopped schooling, and I miss those wonderful times already, oh how time had flown, and thank goodness, memories prevail.

Tell us how your favorite subject made learning effortless for you?

Science has always been interesting to me, it feels great to know how things work from like electricity, and machines and more in physics. I also got interested in knowing about life in Biology; a part of me wanted to be a nurse of a doctor but I knew my parents could not afford to send me to a medical school. My keen interest made me understand the lessons fast and I would find it easy to understand even just by reading books.

Did you always manage to get good marks in your favorite subject, or did you face any hardship at any particular time?

Back in the days, I was just an average student, and I had other things on my hands too; I didn't always get a good mark but I always pass the tests and exams.

My hardest time in science was Chemistry because those days, I got sick and got behind the lesson about teh elements on teh periodic table and no one could teach me so I could catch up, yet I was still able to pass teh subject and went to the next level.

Are there any other subjects that you like too?

Aside form Science, I like English too, I like reading stories and understanding them. English made me interested in reading novels and books and widen my knowledge. Yet too bad, I only read and read; I did not get to use it in communication and enhanced my communication skills. Thankfully, Steem came ad I get to practice writing .

Do you help your children or siblings in their favorite subjects?

My children are going to school already and I get to help my fourth grader in her science class but I also help her in math, English and geography too. It feels good to help and I get to remember teh things I once used to know.

Finally, is there any role of your favorite subject in your present-day life?

Today, my favorite subject's role in my daily life is huge, it got a huge impact in my life too, it helped me finish my course in Agriculture, majoring in Animal Science and got me into a position in my workplace for now in a private company.

To me, It does not matter if you had high grades during school days, what matters most is that you have high comprehension and knows how to solve basic problems that comes.

Also, school might not get you rich but it could help you choose a better job for a better earnings and living.

This will be all for my entry, I will end my blog here for now, hoping for positive results.

I would happily accept constructive criticism. All images posted in this blog are mine unless stated otherwise. Images are captured using my Huawei y9s phone camera.

I understand your challenge with chemistry. I had issues getting a good hang on it with all the chemical elements and equations you have to learn. Good write up. Warm regards

Glad you could relate to me too. It's tge equations that I missed being discussed in class and we had. A test whne I came back to school after being sick. It was so hard and I had no idea

You communicated your emotions in this article so well. Your parents had less money to send you to med school and a whole lot of issues you had which made you power down. I appreciate your efforts too in participating in this challenge. Success my dear friend.

That was a lomh time ago my friend, but things had worked for me and I'm contentes with what I have now. Thankful even
