As users increase their power, they convert their Steem into Steem Power (SP). Steem Power has several important benefits on the platform, such as increased voting power. With more Steem Power, the votes we give to other people's content will have greater value. This means we can provide more support to other creators on the platform and vice versa
The higher the Steem Power we have, the greater the potential income from curation. When we upvote a popular post or comment, we are entitled to a portion of the curation rewards generated by that content. With more Steem Power, users will gain a stronger position in the community. They will be seen as having more experience and financial backing that can be used to push quality content and help Steemit grow
More power over an account allows users to have more influence. Every time we post or comment on something, others are more likely to see it because of our voting power. Steem Power provides additional protection for your account. The more SP you have, the less likely your account is to be abused. Overall, upgrading a Steemit account is an important step in increasing influence, income, and security as part of the Steemit community.
Here are my steps to do today's power up, the first thing I want to tell you is the total amount of my Steam power before doing the power up is 1,027 SP
So I immediately opened my wallet to do a power up of 20 steems that I got from my posts a few days ago, I collected them little by little with the aim of doing the power up
After I finished boosting 20 steems, finally my steem was at 1,047 SP. I have a personal goal that at the end of the year I already have at least 1500 SP, so I have to be enthusiastic again to make posts and do power ups again.
