What do I need, my Sultan!

Reading this answer in Topkapı Palace with amazement, the Sultan cannot make any sense.

He hardly thinks that a person like Yahya Efendi would pass it off with such a simple answer. It begins to be said:

Finally, he gets up, comes to Yahya Efendi's lodge in Beşiktaş, and asks his reproachful question again:

Brother, please answer my letter. Don't let us down, take the question seriously!

Yahya Efendi pauses:

Sultan, is it possible to not take your question seriously? I thought about your question thoroughly and I expressed my opinion clearly.

Sultan say:

Good, but I didn't understand anything from this answer. You just said what do I need, my sultan. I make a sense as if I say don't get me involved in such matters.

And Yahya Efendi replies as follows:

My Sultan! If oppression spreads in a state, if injustice is done, if those who hear say they should try and walk away, then if the shepherds eat the sheep instead of the wolves, if those who know do not say this and remain silent... Even if the cry of the poor, the needy, the destitute, the orphans go up to the skies, they can do it to someone other than stones. If he does not hear, then the end of the state will appear. After such situations, the treasury of the state becomes empty and the trust and respect of the people are shaken. The feeling of obedience to the public order disappears, the sense of respect among the people disappears. Collapse and izmihlal also become destined...
