City of Antakya Hatay. Every corner of Antakya smells of history [ENG/TR]

Around 300 BC Founded by Alexander the Great.

Hatay is one of the oldest settlement centers in Turkey. Antakya entered 64 BC. Joined the Roman Empire and became the capital of the Empire's Syrian province.
Christianity, which emerged in the first half of the century, first spread in Antakya with the exception of Jerusalem.

The greatest example is St. Pierre Church, it is said to be the first church of Christianity. This cave was found by St. Pierre and then used as a church.

I personally visited this first church, it is on the top of the mountain. For some reason, such historical places are always on top of a mountain. Every year on June 29th, the Catholic Church organizes a ceremony.

Now I'll show you my own pictures of the St. Pierre. When you are on the site you can still feel the past history and you are amazed again and again. The people, what a strength they have put in, and what great things they have left us there.
My home is Turkey, the largest museum on earth. No matter where you go in Turkey, the past and history can be smelled everywhere.

I hope to have taught you something with my visit to the first church in the world.

MÖ 300 civarında Büyük İskender tarafından kuruldu.
Hatay, Türkiye'nin en eski yerleşim merkezlerinden biridir. Antakya MÖ 64'e girdi. Roma İmparatorluğu'na katıldı ve İmparatorluğun Suriye eyaletinin başkenti oldu.
Yüzyılın ilk yarısında ortaya çıkan Hristiyanlık, Kudüs dışında ilk olarak Antakya'da yayıldı.

En güzel örnek St. Pierre Kilisesi, Hıristiyanlığın ilk kilisesi olduğu söyleniyor. Bu mağara St. Pierre tarafından bulunmuş ve daha sonra kilise olarak kullanılmıştır.

Ben şahsen bu ilk kiliseyi ziyaret ettim, dağın tepesinde. Nedense böyle tarihi yerler her zaman bir dağdadır. Katolik Kilisesi her yıl 29 Haziran'da bir tören düzenler.

Şimdi size St. Pierre'in kendi resimlerimi göstereceğim. Tesislerdeyken hala geçmiş tarihi hissedebilir ve tekrar tekrar şaşırırsınız. İnsanlar, ne kadar güç verdiler ve bizi orada ne harika şeyler bıraktılar.
Evim Türkiye, dünyanın en büyük müzesi. Türkiye'de nereye giderseniz gidin, her yerde geçmiş ve tarih kokulabilir.

Dünyadaki ilk kiliseye yaptığım ziyarette size bir şeyler öğretmeyi umuyorum.
