When he finds in Julia not only the love of his life, but also a kindred spirit, he gathers the courage to join her in the secret organization of the Brotherhood, dedicated to the destruction of the Party. But the ever-watchful system does not tolerate opposition, and total surveillance lurks even in supposedly safe places.
