Hello Steemians! Well come to my post. Hopefully saying that you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this amazing contest which is organized by @enamul17 in the Steem For Pakistan community. The topic of this contest is "Who is the "home doctor" in your house?". Who is the home doctor in your house? Share something about him.

Well! The doctor is a person who diagnoses our disease, suggest us some medications and help us to heal our wounds. He is also bring us our from the suffering and reduces our pains by his medications and experience. Usually there is a person in each family who has some knowledge about the medicines and the disease so that kind a person is called home doctor. Sometimes a professional doctor can also be a home doctor. So the name of my home doctor is Muhammad Azam.

As I'm living in a combined family system so he is my cousin and our home doctor. Professionally he is a government teacher and part time he is a home doctor for us. During his student life he has worked with a doctor and also worked on a medical lab in our city. He has also done the courses of Pharmacy Assistant and the course of Dispenser. So he has a brief knowledge about the disease and their cures so he is our family doctor and a home doctor.

Share an incident where he plays the home doctor and you think of him as the home doctor ever since?

Yes it is no doubt that my home doctor is very much talented and experienced. This is because he has spent a lot of time in that field of pharmacy and the doctors to get that experience. There are so many incidents where he served as a home doctor and played a vital role in healing our wounds and give us many precautionary measures to fight with the disease. He also knows the sticking which is considered as the most difficult tasks in the field of medical.

I still remembered that once my uncle was suffering in kidney pains and one day suddenly a very nasty pain started in his kidney and he started moaning with pain. I can't forget that day he was lying on the bed and crying with pain. Seeing that situation we called our home doctor. After a check up he said that it a kidney pain. Quickly he injected a painkiller. And And after some time his pain started to subside and started feeling well. After that incident I started thinking him as our home doctor because the way he realized that it is a kidney pain was extraordinary.

If you were or a home doctor what items would you have in your first aid kit to serve your family?

Well! If i were a home doctor then I would like to keep all the essential things and medicine in my first aid kit. I would prefer to keep the medicines which helps to deal with the emergency situations and can provide some relief from the further suffering. let's discuss about them.

• 1.Thermometer: To deal with the patients who are suffering from fever I will keep a thermometer in my first aid kit to measure the temperature of their bodies.

• 2.Bandages and pyodine Solution: To deal with cuts and wounds I will keep bandages and pyodine Solution To prevent further increase in the wounds.

• 3.A sphygmomanometer: It is a device which is used to measure the blood pressure of body. So to deal with the patients which are suffering from blood pressure I will keep that device to monitor their blood pressure.

• 4.Paracetamol and Painkillers: Paracetamol is used to reduce body temperature and fever and the painkillers are used to reduce pain so I will also keep that medicine in my first aid kit.

• 5.Gauze And Dressing Tapes: I would also keep the gauze and the dressing tapes in my first aid kit to deal with the wounds.

Do you think that every family needs to have a home doctor? Why?

Yes I think that every family needs to have a person who have some knowledge about the disease and about their preventions. Sometimes we are far away from the hospital and in the emergency situations we have to need a person at home who give us some first aid and reduce the destruction of the disease. So keeping all these things we should always need to have a home doctor at our house.
