Vitamin D is seen is a fat soluble vitamins which plays an important role in our bodily functions. Mostly notably in calcium absorption and bone health.
I have heard and I have been thought about vitamin D but the I never knew the source of Vitamin D. As I grew up and I started putting everything into practice and with my best observation it is clear to me that sunlight is the best source of vitamin D. Because when you exposed your to sunlight, it would effectively produces Vitamin D in response to Ultraviolet B (UVB) and adequate vitamin D level is is very important because it prevents rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults . it will be a great if you add this to your morning routine because naturally significantly it is recommended to spend at least 15 to 30 minutes under sun everyday day to help your body produce enough Vitamin D which your body needs.
At side from sunlight which is obviously common to us, they are also other good sources of Vitamin D. And that include fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, and trout, as a well fortified meals like orange juice, milk, and cereals. But for those that cannot get enough vitamin D through diet there is Vitamin D supplements which you can take to get vitamin D.
VITAMIN D DAILY REQUIREMENTS?
Like I said earlier base on my observation to me the daily intake of VITAMIN D is in a difference dosage depending on gender, age and other similar factors. Down below 👇 is the general recommended daily allowance for Vitamin D.
✅ For Infants up to 12 months= 400 IU [10 mcg] dosage
✅ For Children & Adults from 1 to 70 years = 600 IU [15 mcg] dosage
✅ for Adults that's above 70 years= 800 IU [20 mcg] dosage
And according to studies and researched some health providers experts has recommend higher daily intakes of Vitamin D, most importantly for those at higher risk of deficiency, like old adults, individuals with darker skin, and those that cannot acquire enough sun exposure. So the best solution in a situation like this is to consult with a healthcare provider to make a firm decision of the appropriate daily intake of Vitamin D for your individual needs.

Like I said previously if you read carefully, the recommendation of daily allowance for Vitamin D can be vary depending on age, sex, and other factors. Overly, the simple guideline is around 600-800 IU [International Units] per day for adults. But in majority of people, this can be achieved through the combination of sunlight exposure, dietary sources, fatty fish, and supplements if needed.
So in calculations, supposing a daily intake of 600-800 IU, that's means the monthly requirement for Vitamin D would be approximately 18,000-24,000 IU. Lastly, Don't forget some people might require higher amounts of Vitamin D, so it is necessary to consult your healthcare provider to determine the best dosage for you..
