Is Terra round or flat?

^{Ever wonder if earth is flat rather than round as some people say with legit logics, which makes you doubt about all this solar system? What if ancient Greek was lieing about it being round?}

All this crazy internet world would blow your mind where everbody is throwing their own science on your face without any scientific research. If we are to believe the keyboard warriors then for what did the scientists make their discoveries.

One such debate is about the shape of the earth.
Some says, it's flat and they have their own logics which sound legit.

For instance: If the earth wasn't flat then planes would fly in the space because they fly in straight line maintaining a constant altitude.
It sounds logical, isn't it?

^{However, planes have the autopilot machinism to maintain same altitude even when flying in curve. They fly straight line and level, following the earth's curvature, which is round:)}

Others say(scientist) that earth is round and oval like the shape of an ostrich egg making it ellipsoid.
Now, they have a very solid reason for its authenticity.

If earth was flat then sunlight would directly reach all the surface of the earth. There will be day and night at the same time in every country. But this is not the case.

Because earth is round and it rotates, so the sunlight reaches only the part of it facing the Sun, and we call it day time.

Another part of if where sunlight can't reach, because it's round, remains in dark and we call it night.

And it is He who created the night and the day and the Sun and the moon; all in an orbit are swimming. Surah Anbiya 21:33

This is the reason for the huge time gap between countries, disproving flat earther's theory.

^{1- First, i made outline on the globe, which we ordered from daraz, to make partitions for green and blue areas on earth.
2- Blue color is obviously for water comprising 70% earth while green for land and vegetation that is 30%
3- After painting them green and blue i kind of tapped it with white and Brown color.
4- Brown color to show deserts and White color for snow caped mountains.
5- I made it for overpopulation project where an earth was supposed to be there.}

But the thing is i never heard this debate in a healthy way in our society before. Our assets(children) who are to contribute their intellect in the scientific researches are stagnant mentally due to our poor schooling system.

Their minds are stuck in the tiktok world and think only about earning money while compromising on the ways to earn it.

Or they are (literally teenagers 12-13years old) thinking only about getting married. Which is an absolute part of our life but if it's to do while compromising on our education then what is the point of life left behind.

Our society objects and brings Islam in every aspect of life to an extent which suits them.

• Islam also says to get education/knowledge from the womb of your mother to your grave( they will ignore it though).

• It also says to observe the universe to know the miracles of Allah.

But we say everything is haram if you are using you mind in the wordly affairs.
Another day i was watching a video of a very brilliant journalist, where he was ranting about a cleric discouraging children asking him about the rotation of our earth. The cleric even said that earth is static, it doesn't move, and dismissed any further discussion.

Can you believe it? He was a mullah who teaches Quran, in which it is clearly stated that earth, Sun, moon and other planets move in their axis.

He hath created the heavens and the Earth with truth. He maketh night to succeed day, and He maketh day to succeed night, and He constraineth the Sun and the moon to give service, each running on for an appointed term. Is not He the Mighty, the Forgiver? Surah Zumar 39:5

Interestingly, The claim of earth being a rotating body was made in 16th century and 2nd time by Galileo Galilei in 1610, proposing heliocentric concept( that Sun is the center of the universe).

He was a Catholic astronomer and was opposed by the Catholic church of that time. Who used to believe that earth is static and the center of the universe thus geocentric

They house arrested Galileo and he died in his poor health.

This is how religious people treat scientists, now we know Galileo was right.

Earth revolves around its own axis in one days and around the Sun in 365days/
one sidereal year.

What science discovers now has already mentioned in our holy book 1400years ago, but our islamic scholars themselve don't know, because they've not done deep studies of Quran neither our governments supported them.

Such kind of people are threat to our children and their intellect and creativity.

We can only rant because we have never made it to space to take the pictures of the planets. We have to believe on the scientific discoveries of the west, ignore them saying it photoshop pictures, but they are light years ahead of us.
