Dir city is located in Dir District, Dir district is one of the largest districts of Pakistan. Dir city is a mountainous areas where local and other Pakistani people reside. Dir city attracts numerous tourists to its spot because of beautiful regions are present here for tourism. Here, the availability of hotels make it easy for tourists to come here and enjoy their leisure time, moreover, the hotel rent are very affordable than other areas which makes it easy for tourists to afford and to stay for more days.
Infrastructure of Upper Dir is enough for people to come here and take benefits of it. Here, health availability is confirmed due to presence of district hospital, proper charcoal roads for vehicles, residents near to roads to help you and guide you on the way, availability of internet and proper mobile system to continue your communication system.

Upper Dir connects you with Chitral and Kumrat; these both are great tourist spots. Chitral with its rich and distinct culture attracts both local and foreign tourists. Kumrat on the other hand is compared with beauty of Switzerland; experts says that if you want to experience the beauty and nature of Switzerland so visit Kumrat valley.
However, there are several places available for you to rest during travel. Hotels available on roadsides of the place and also you can stay in a petrol pump to fill your tank plus buy things and rest a little; the wonderful thing is that you can feel the natural breezes and nature beauty on petrol pumps and hotels.
Now, let's talk about the beauty of people and area. The people of this place are referred as hospitable and caring. Upper Dir is filled with beauty of nature; it includes green mountains which you can hike and also explore with vehicle. Most of the areas are for hiking because there are no roads available and some places includes roads but you need a 4X4 vehicle to climb. There are also other places which you can explore with vehicles easily.
So these were the glimpses from Upper Dir, hope that everyone will enjoy reading this and make a plan for travelling to Upper Dir this Eid with your family and friends. The valley is waiting for your arrival so change your other plans and travel to Upper Dir and if you have enough time and money then you will able to travel further to Kumrat Valley.
