As-salamu Alaikum.
Hello Steemians! This is @arjinarahman .
Hope you all are doing great. Today, I’m taking part in an awesome contest in the "Steem For Pakistan" community, organized by @enamul17 .
Here is: Contest Link .
Let’s begin!
Drawing of a Physalis Fruit |
---|
Designed with Canva
Drawing tools
🟥 White paper
🟦 Pencil
🟪 Eraser
🟨 Shrapner
🟩 Gel pen
🟥 Color pencil
Today, I will share my drawing of the Physalis fruit with you. This is my first experience drawing this fruit, as I have never drawn it before. Without further delay, let’s get started.
Step 1
To draw the Physalis fruit, I first gather all the necessary materials. Then, using a pencil, I try drawing the Physalis fruit on a white sheet of paper. First, I draw two circles and then sketch the outer covering. In this outer covering, I draw small veins for added detail.
Step 2
Using gel pen |
---|
To make my drawing look a bit better, I finish it using a gel pen. Now, I will move on to the next step, which is to start coloring.
Step 3
Start to color |
---|
While coloring, I first color the outer covering of the fruit on the left side. For this, I use brown, light green, and yellow colors.
Step 4
Next, I lightly apply brown on the outer covering of the left-side fruit and the outer covering of the fruit on the right side. In some areas, I have used the brown color lightly, while in others, I have used it more heavily.
Step 5
In this step, I will add a light green color to the outer covering of the fruit.
Step 6
Combination of three color |
---|
After that, I will use yellow on top of the brown and light green colors. For the outer covering, I have used a total of three colors. So, with the combination of these three colors, I achieved the final shade for the outer covering.
Step 7
using red color |
---|
Using orange color |
---|
Now that the outer covering of the Physalis fruit is complete, I will color the two oval-shaped parts. For this, I first use red, leaving a small portion white. After the red is done, I apply orange over it. So, I have used a combination of red and orange for the inner oval-shaped part of the fruit.
Step 8
Finally, I add a little finishing touch using yellow. I have used a combination of red, orange, and yellow for the fruit's color.
Step 9
Selfie with my drawing |
---|
Looking at the picture, you can probably tell that I have completed the drawing and coloring. Now, I will capture a selfie with my drawing.
I hope you like my drawing. Thank you, everyone.
I have tried to provide the answers to the questions mentioned in the contest below. |

Are you familiar with this fruit?
Yes, I know about physalis fruit. In our country it is usually found in the jungles of the rural regions. I used to see it in the past when I was young at the village. Small red round fruit like a tomato, but is of quite a different taste. The fruit is normally hooded with leaves so that looks appealing.
Is this fruit available in your country?
This fruit is not easily found in Bangladesh. But, it could be available in large supermarkets or few international fruit shops.
Have you eaten this fruit yet?
Well, to be completely truthful I have not eat this fruit, but those who have claim it has a sweet and sour taste and is fresh. If I can, I will eat it, inshaAllah.
How much is it worth in your area? (Include steem prices with your country prices.)
This fruit is not sale in Bangladesh, so I don’t have much idea about the price of it.
