Contest: 1 Picture 1 Story Week #72

Hello dear steemians, it's your girl @ashley-p I bring you greetings from my end, hoping you all are doing great, I'm delighted to participate on this contest organized by @suboohi in this community it's indeed an amazing contest and i will like to share my thoughts as soon as possible.

The picture above is my niece, her name is TREASURE, she's my late sister's daughter she's so lovely, intelligent, smart and respectful, even as little as she's, she does things like older people and that make everyone loves her. Since my elder sister died, I've been the one standing as her mother though she sometimes ask after her but the love I show to her makes her feel free and I always make sure I do everything within my power to make her feel better e even as time goes on, I know isn't really easy on us all, but we give God the glory for what happened.

Soo, every year her late mum always make sure she celebrate her birthday, and that used to make her happy at all cost, even before her birthday comes she reminded me that her birthday is coming up, I responded to her saying I know and I asked her what she wanted for her birthday? She said she want a cake and whine, and I promise to do her wish, in order not to make her take note of her mum's absence, so I assured her not to worry much about that, her wish would be granted then she was happy waiting patiently for the the day to come as she keeps reminding me.

The day came, firstly I woke her up with a sweet birthday song and she smiled and asked "AUNTY WHERE IS MY CAKE"? I said she should calm down until she's back from school, though I bought some things for her to share for her friends in school and she was happy and appreciated, when she came back from school, she already saw that the cake was ready and she jumped up with excitement went in changed her clothes immediately to her fine birthday gown, and called her friends to come and celebrate with her, it was indeed a lovely day.
