Hello everyone, we're still in the celebration of year 2025, am delighted to welcome you to my blog and to wish you a happy new year once again.
My story in this week contest is based on the unexpected experience I had during Christmas day, though it's a happy thing but it took me unplanned.
This yummy salivary meal comes unplanned. We all know how Christmas day be in many families. Many people will travel to their place of choice to make themselves relax and happy. This day, Christmas day, I and my family planned to celebrate the Christmas day in a restaurant after church service where our child can have fun with other children and us as well.
On our way returning back from church, I received a call from one of my cousin that they're will be coming to my house. I shouted and ask how? I thought you wanted to wish me a Merry Christmas not knowing you want to put me into stress and why don't you call to tell me before now, she said that am their big cousin, I should've asked them if they will come or not.
Oh my gosh, I was short of words. How many people am are expecting, she said three of them. I told my husband and he said I should allow them to come, so I agreye. Reaching the house, I had to start planning on what to give them, I didn't really figure out what to do since going to the market that day to get things will be at a very high price and so, I used what I have in the house at the moment to see what I can do.
In the Kitchen, I have egg, groundnut oil, carrot, cucumber and other ingredients. Thinking 🤔 on what to prepare, I guess sauce will be a better option. I started the preparation and my husband help me to get beef meat in the market. Coming back I was done cooking white rice, about to make sauce. He handed the beef for me, I wash, add the seasoning cubes and steam.
When the meat was soft and tender, I remove it and fry before going for the sauce. Before my guest arrived, the meal was ready. As I was about to keep the kitchen clean, I heard a knock sound on the door. Going out to the door for them to come in, I saw five(5) of my cousins rushing to huge me.
Oh no, why small me, they all laugh😃 at me with smiles. I and my husband welcome them wholeheartedly, we were glad that they came visited and joyfully, we celebrate the Christmas day with them in Joy and lot of fun activities. My unexpected visit turn to excitement moment in my family.
