I am here to make my entry in Art (Pencil Drawing to be precise). I hope that my drawing will stand out. Thank you.

The Hidden Talent in me is "Artwork". I started drawing right from my secondary school. I had a teacher who helped me to develop this talent, but along the line, I threw this talent into the dustbin, joined science class and eventually studied B.Ed Mathematics (Hons).
I rekindled this talent last year in April 2024 when @vickyson introduced me to Steemit, and since then, I have seen myself improving.

In connection with my Talent, I shall be presenting a pencil drawing of a beautiful African maiden holding a clay pot

Materials For The Drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpener
• Brush

Step 1
I began this drawing by writing my name and date on plain paper. After that, I sketched the face of the maiden, her ear and the top level of her hair.

Step 2
I drew the two eyes of the maiden, the eyelid, the eyebrow, her nose and her mouth.

Step 3
I drew the neck, shoulder and her right hand. I drew the necklace on her neck and the bracelet on her hand. Finally, I drew the edge of the rapper she tied around her chest.

Step 4
I drew the hair on her head threaded in an African way. I also drew one of her earrings and shaded them appropriately.

Step 5
I drew the clay pot resting on her body and her left hand under it.

Step 6
I shaded the face and neck of the maiden. I arranged her eyebrows, shaded her eyelids black, and her ear, nose, neck and other parts.

Step 7
I shaded her chest and her hand.

Step 8
I shaded the necklace on her neck and shaded the bracelet on her hands. I also shaded the beautiful clay pot. The clay pot is given an African design.

Step 9
I drew the pattern on the wrapper she tied around her chest and shaded it accordingly.

Step 10
I drew and shaded the beats on her waist. I also drew and shaded the pattern on the rapper she tied on her waist. I drew the second earring she wore and shaded the remaining part of her hands. Lastly, I went through the entire drawing and made all the necessary adjustments
