Hello friends welcome to my blog. It's story time
Maduka was in his house when the message came to him that he should produce the bride price for his marriage to Ukamaka. Ukamaka and her mother were willing to accept his proposal.
Maduka produced the bride price, but the father ofUkamaka was bent on her not marrying him "I shall not live to see any other man than Okoro marries Ukamaka", he declared.
The people returned with the gifts they had taken the Ukamaka's father and the advisers of Maduka told him not to be discouraged " since Ukamaka and her mother are quite willing there's nothing to fear"
Maduka distributed money among the relatives of Ukamaka and sent a good portion to the king of the land. The king at once sent a message to Ukamakas father, Mazi Orji, telling him not to be angry and that Ukamaka would not be happy if she married a man she did not like.
"King you are trying to use your power as king of this land to make me to agree with your opinion which does not suit me in this matter," said Mazi Orji "But as long as I live Okoro is the man to marry Ukamaka"
The king kept on sending messages across to Mazi Orji, making him see reasons why people who love each other should get married, rather than pushing her daughter to marry someone she did not love. After a continuous intervention of the king, Mazi Orji accepted Maduka to marry his daughter.
The king made all arrangements for the marriage to take place and sent money to Okoro in payment of whatever money he might have deposited with the parents of the girl. Okoro refused to collect it: "Any money of hers I do not want".
But in due time, the wedding of Ukamaka and Maduka took place. It was a lavish occasion. The king was surprised at how much money was spent, which was not even spent when he had married; the wedding also had more distinguished guests in attendance. Ukamaka remained in Maduka's house after the ceremony.
A year passed, and Ukamaka gave birth to a male child. There was great rejoicing, and Maduka, at the naming ceremony, called him Obinna, meaning " the father's heart".

Your story is based on love, determination and also understanding. Maduka and Ukamaka both want to marry each other and Ukamaka’s mother also wishes the same. Besides her father, Mazi Orji strongly oppose to this marriage. He wanted her daughter to marry Okoro as his decided groom for her. Despite this Maduka didn’t lose hope and all his advisers encouraged him to be strong. The king decided to intervene in this matter and requested to Mazi Orji to allow her daughter to the man whom she loved. After that, Mazi Orji finally accepted Maduka’s proposal. The marriage of Ukamaka and Maduka was a grand event, this was a lavish celebration even the king’s own wedding. They lived a happy life and after one year later Ukamaka gave birth a baby boy. Maduka kept the name of the boy Obinna which means "the father's heart" It indicates the father's sincere love for his child. This full story highlights the power of love, patience, and understanding. The true love of Maduka and Ukamaka gets recognition for their inner understanding and finally, their true love triumphs.

Exactly you understood my story of two people in love who were almost separated by the girl's father not until the king intervened and their love was given a chance to blossom.
