MORNING

I woke up this morning surprised to see that it was already 8 am in the morning. When I asked my roommate, what time it was, was shocked when she said 8 am. Nevertheless, I woke up and started my day. I prayed and committed the day into God's hand. After prayers, I stood and went on to wash my face and also brushed my teeth. After which I sat down to process what to eat. There was no food and I didn't know the market around since I'm now staying in a new environment. I wanted to make soup and I needed to go to the market. So I had to go with my roommate. But then, she was not ready to go and I just had to wait. I decided to pick up my book to read and just suppress the thought of food.

The topic I read was psychology in Nursing and it was quite interesting. I read about the nervous system and how it affects our mental health.
I read for like an hour. Then I went with my roommate to the market where I purchased what I wanted to use and cook.
When I returned from the market, it was already afternoon and I had not eaten anything yet.

AFTERNOON

Having gotten home, I brought out the things I bought from the market and started my preparation for the cooking.

My oil and other items for the soup
I first soaked my melon in water for it to rise.

Then I soaked my already washed bitter leaf in water for rewashing and also sliced it

I poured out my fish into a bowl and washed it thoroughly, then kept in the pot, added salt, Maggie, pepper, and onion for steaming it.
When it was well steamed, I added water as the little water had dried out.

I removed the fish from the pot including the water, dried the pot, poured in my red oil and allowed it to get hot, when it was I poured in my melon and fried it while stiring it to prevent it from getting burnt.
After frying it very well, I added my water and my Maggie, salt, crayfish, and bitter leaf. I stired it and soon the soup was ready.

Food is ready, Egusi soup and Eba(Garri)

I dished out the food, and oh yes! It was a sumptuous meal, I ate and ate till I finished the plenty Garri I made. I enjoyed the meal just the way I wanted it. After eating I relaxed and waited for the food to digest.

EVENING

When it was evening, I decided to check out for songs I would be singing in the fellowship today. It was my turn to lead in the chorus session, therefore I had to prepare.

Today's fellowship is usually by 5: 45 pm. So when I left the house to attend the fellowship, it was already 5:30 pm. My distance from the house to inside school where the fellowship will be held was 30 minutes and also as the chorus leader I needed to be there before 6 pm. But then it was looking as if it won't be possible to get there before the time. I had to quickly dress up and walked so fast as my leg could carry me. I kept checking the time to see how many minutes I had left . When I checked again, and discovered it was already 5:50 pm yet I hadn't gotten to church I had to literally start running. I ran till I was able to get closer. Thankfully, I was able to get there at 5:55pm.

I kept taking deep breaths to calm myself. I didn't that severally till I was a bit calm. So when it was 6:00pm on the dot, I went to the podium and took the microphone from the person that was leading prayers and then I started the choruses. I was so happy I was able to meet up with taking the choruses. I never liked the idea of failing God and disappointing my leader who appointed me.
I sang for about 20 minutes before the moderator came and took over.
Today's Thursday Revival Program was really impactful as we learnt on how to succeed in our exams.

We dismissed and I went home in the company of my other church members.

That was how I spent my day. Thank you for reading through.

I invite my friends @goodybest, @ulfatulrahmah, @elainy to please join me in this game

Hello 👋 dear friend @comfortpeter, How are you? Your diary game contains good content. You made delicious 😋 soup looks great. Of course, it will also be good to drink.

When you first woke up in the morning, it was eight o'clock at that time. Today you had to make soup, so you needed some supplies, so you had to go to the market.

So you told your friend to go together. But your friend was not ready yet, so you waited for her for some time and then you went to the market. And from there you bought the things you wanted to buy.

Now it was afternoon time, so you brought these things home and after that you started making soup. You made the soup very well with simple easy steps. And thank you so much for sharing it with us. I hope you enjoyed the soup.

Best Wishes 😍 Always be happy.

Regards!
