One Picture And One Story

I am telling this week's story with so many tears in my eyes and pains in my heart because the story is about my coursemate then in school who died a few days ago in a ghastly motor accident.

My best friend in school happened to be a male friend, we started college together in 2019, and while in school we were best of friends throughout the years. We both graduated from school in 2022.

The truth is that during the time we were in school, my friend did not find things easy in school due to financial challenges, even though it wasn't easy for me too, mine was a bit better than his because he was the one who sponsored himself in school. To the best of my knowledge, he had no one then to call for an assistant, he was in school all alone.

In 2022, we both graduated from college and went to our various destinations.

After a month, my friend told me that he would be going to his mother's village named Awe local government area of Nasarawa state to farm so he would be able to pay the debt he collected from people while he was in school. So, he traveled to Awe and he farmed a large piece of land and planted rice, he snapped a picture of the farm and sent it to me on my WhatsApp platform and I saw that it was a big piece of land that he farmed there and according to him, that he planted eight basins of rice in the farm.

Last week, he called me on the phone and told me that before he left for his mother village, he dropped an application with the Ministry of Health Nasarawa State and that the ministry approved his appointment. After he told me this good news I was so happy for him because, to the best of my knowledge, he deserved the appointment.

So, the next day after he called me, he came back home and went straight to the Ministry of Health and was given the appointment letter.

Last week Saturday, I logged in to my Facebook and saw that someone posted my friend saying rest in peace😭 and I was so shocked and I was like, this can't be true but unfortunately, it was true😭

He didn't enjoy his new job and he didn't harvest his rice on the farm, he only suffered in vain.

Thank you all for your usual support, love, and time that you have dedicated to reading my post. I love you all❤

I want to invite @josepha @dave-hanny and @simonnwigwe
