Hey friends, it is a pleasure to be here and engage in this context organised by @suboohi in the steem for Pakistan communit which titled: one picture and one story :

So I'm presenting an electric steam iron as my own picture, which I'm about to review the benefits of it and the way to use it. I believe we all know what electric iron is, and i also believe that some people don't really know the defence between electric steam iron and normal dry iron.

Steam iron seems to be heavier than the dry iron, and it has a space for water, which steams and helps to remove wrinkles. When you look at the under, you will also see a difference. Steam iron always has tiny holes under, but dry iron doesn't have any holes under, and the holes are where the steam is performing its own work. On the other hand, steam iron has it own disadvantages such as:

• it's heavier compared to dry iron
• It consumes more power than the dry iron
• higher prices than the dry iron
• leaking of water

Diving into the advantages, it helps to control the hotness from damaging your clothes and with the help of water it makes it easier to give your rough clothes the smoothness that you want.

So the dry iron is the one that doesn't have water tanks, and it is lighter than the steam iron. It only has one regulator, which only regulates the increasing of the hotness and reducing the hotness as well. But the steam iron has three or more regulator buttons, the first control the hotness, second one control the water springs and the last for the steamer.

Dry iron and damaging of clothes are twins, it can damage your clothes very fast because there's no water to steam which equally help iron not to damage the clothes.

Before you iron a rough fabric, if you are using a dry iron, you have to welt your fabrics a bit so it can be easier to iron and make it smooth. But if you are using steam iron, you dont need to welt your fabrics anymore because there's a water tank that comes with it. It's just to fill the tank with water control with the pressing button.

Overall:

• Ironing makes your clothes smooth and fresh
• it transforms old fabric to it original form.

During ironing, make sure you put tick materials on top of the table or anything you're using to iron and concentrate. Also, pay more attention to the regulator to know when to increase hot and to reduce the hotness to avoid boning of materials.
