Lions are present in which continent mostly

Lions are mainly located in African continent, but specifically they are found in the sub Saharan area where the reside in the areas of savanna, grasslands and open and closed canopies also one must qualify that only African lions are alive, or actually alive in the wild today, and that they are social lions with magnificent manes.

Assembling in social groups known as prides, females and some young are included in a group led by an adult male and Tiger is one of the largest carnivores that feed on different kinds of grass eaters that are found within its geographical location, country like Namibia is where you can find lions and different types of animals.

Elephants are in which continent mostly

Elephants are predominantly found in the continent of Africa as well where two species are commonly recognized and there are two varieties of elephants, that are the African bush elephant and the African forest elephant and these big animals live in different parts of the continent, more to, savanna lands, forests, and the grasslands. Elephants that inhabit African continent are the world’s largest land mammals and significantly influence their habitats seriously African is great .

Prides for its brains, social hierarchy and memory phenomenal. Currently, elephants are harmed through habitat loss, poaching by human beings as well as human-elephant conflict that has seen the number of elephants reduce. Efforts to conserve these animals are important to preserve them to benefit generations to come into existence.

Most favorite food for lion and elephant.

Lions are referred to as carnivorous animals because their favorite food is meat more often than not, large ungulates such as zebras, buffaloes and antelopes. Lions are good hunters that which uses power, velocity and coordination in hunting of their meals and they usually will follow their victims and then launch a group attack to capture and kill for food.

And on the other hand elephants are herbivores with feeding habit focusing on taking plant materials such as grasses, leaves, barks, and fruits. It needs sizeable quantities of vegetation daily due to its massive size and intensity of feeding activities to nourish its body. Specialized diet is also a noticeable fact regarding the two animals since they are really different in their evolutionary niche.
