What is your favorite street food, and where is it commonly found?

My favorite street food here in my country Nigeria is called Suya its a perfect eating experience emerges from the tender spice infused meat combined with fresh vegetable crunch and suya vendors operate widely throughout Nigeria with a special presence in all cities in Nigeria. And the combination of grilled meat and aromatic spices produces a flavorful aroma which acts as a powerful invitation to detect its savory aroma on the street corners. Suya comes in three varieties of beef chicken or goat at every Nigerian street corner and provides people with a tasty enough experience.

What ingredients are used to prepare it?

Normally suya is a flavorful Nigerian street food which is made with thinly sliced pieces of meat, typically beef sometimes chicken or even goat and the ingredients used to prepare suya are listed below 👇

• Thinly sliced meat
• Peanut sauce which is also known as groundnut sauce.
• Yaji spice this is a blend of spices, including ginger, garlic, and chili peppers.
• Salt
• Vegetable oil
• Onions
• Bell peppers.

And to be honest the meat is marinated in a mixture of peanut sauce, yaji spice, salt, and other spices before being grilled over an open flame and the result is a deliciously spicy and savory snack that's popular among locals and visitors alike!"

I have a deep affection for Suya due to its unforgettably tasty and sweet combination to be honest I'm absolutely hooked on it! Time after time when I eat Suya it triggers memories of my childhood journeys through the Nigerian streets with my loved ones and companions. I eat suya once per week while roaming the streets and this happens more or less weekly.

Would you recommend it to others? Why or why not?

I highly suggest that anyone should try suya because the experience provides unique excitement and you need to try suya because it offers a total transformation for your taste senses. Honestly these amazing three texture elements of tender meat plus crunchy vegetables meet the perfect combination with the spicy peanut sauce.
