On this occasion I am back to participate in a contest held by the Steem For Pakistan Community in the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 17 Week 2 with the contest theme: "What if you were the president of your country?".
As a country that adheres to a presidential system, Indonesia has a president who plays a very important role in government. Apart from the unitary state and republican form of government, in our country the Republic of Indonesia, a president holds the power as head of state and also head of government. A president has a large and vital role in the government structure of a country. The president is the head of state and head of government who holds executive power.
A President in Indonesia has the position of head of state in accordance with the 1945 Constitution. The President has the duty and authority to form departments which will then carry out tasks within the government's powers. Every citizen has the same right to become president as long as he meets various predetermined requirements. The President plays a very important and vital role in the establishment of a country to develop and prosper the people he leads.
A President as the leader of the country must be able to move the nation's steering towards progress according to expectations. As I have explained, Indonesia is a democratic country, every citizen has the same right to become president. Therefore, if I personally become president, then I will work with full responsibility for the welfare of the people. Among the many duties and authorities of a president, I will prioritize three programs to carry out, namely the economic sector, the education sector and the health sector.
In my opinion, these three programs should be a priority for a country, including Indonesia, my beloved country. The first priority is Economy The economic sector has experienced a heavy blow in almost all countries in recent years due to the pandemic that hit. Therefore, I think this sector must be a top priority so that it returns to normal. A good economy will greatly influence the welfare of society. The second priority if I become president is the field of Education. The education sector is an effort to overcome ignorance and poverty in a country.
Because education is an important factor in improving the quality of human resources, which is very influential for the progress of the nation. Education is the most important thing in a country, therefore every citizen must receive proper and quality education at an affordable cost. With quality and cheap education, everyone can develop themselves and contribute positively to society and the nation. Education is the key and is a source of progress for a nation because with good education the quality of human resources can be improved.
The third priority that I will do if I become president is to improve the public health sector. I think public health has an important role in efforts to improve the quality of human resources. Also poverty alleviation and economic development. The Human Development Index places health as one of the main components of measurement besides education and income. Therefore, if I become president, these three things will be a priority in my work program.
Becoming president is not something that comes with many challenges to be faced. Moreover, in improving the condition of the country which is not good as a whole. Appropriate policies are needed to overcome various problems in order to achieve the goal of prospering society. However, with cooperation between all parties and the right policies, I am sure that all existing problems will be resolved well. So that all goals will be easily achieved.

Very nice to read your post very informative post as you have expressed your thoughts as the president of your country what kind of change you would like to bring in your country and what steps to take. I would like you to take the country on the path of development. The first thing you have said about the constitution is an information that I have not read in any post before, but it is also a very good step and along with it. You talked about education and health, these two aspects are very important in the development of any country, so we and the government should take these two aspects into consideration first and implement them so that If the country is developed, the same way education will be common in the country, the country will move towards development.
