Punjab is a province of Pakistan which is the largest province of Pakistan in terms of population. People living in Punjab are called Punjabis. Punjab is bordered by Sindh to the south, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan to the west, Kashmir and Islamabad to the north, and Indian Punjab and Rajasthan to the east. The language spoken in Punjab is also called Punjabi. Apart from Punjabi, there is a considerable number of Kurdistan, Baloch and Arab origins. The capital of Punjab is Lahore. Punjab is the largest province with twelve core population.
Then there are different festivals. Editing Apart from Punjab, Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha, Shab-i-Barat and Eid Milad-ul-Nabi are special festivals all over Pakistan and are celebrated with great enthusiasm. Apart from these festivals, the entire month of Ramadan is also of special importance. But Basant is a festival that is associated with Punjab. This festival is a special way to welcome the spring season. In which people celebrate the festival by flying kites and cooking special food of Punjab and Kha Kras. But many people are against celebrating Basant because many innocent people lose their precious lives due to it.
Then I will tell you in terms of geography, geography. Editing Punjab is the second largest province of Pakistan by area after Balochistan with an area of 205,346 square kilometers (79,284 sq mi). It is 25.8% of the total area of Pakistan. Punjab province is bordered by Sindh in the south, Balochistan province in the southwest, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the west and Islamabad capital and Azad Kashmir in the north. Punjab is bordered by Jammu and Kashmir in the north and the Indian states of Punjab and Rajasthan in the east.
The capital and largest city is Lahore, which was the historical capital of the vast region of Punjab. Other important cities include Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Multan, Sialkot, Bahawalpur, Gujarat, Mandi Bahauddin, Sheikhupura, Jhelum and Sahiwal. The most special thing about the geography of Punjab is that it is home to all five major rivers of Pakistan. Those five rivers are:
Punjab is made up of two Persian words Panj meaning five (5) and Ab meaning water.

Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab, is a cultural, historical and economic center of Pakistan, home to the country's cinema industry and its fashion industry.

The province is home to more than half of Pakistan's population and is the fifth most populous sub-national entity in the world and the most populous province after China and India. Punjab has the lowest poverty rate in Pakistan, although there is a divide between the northern and southern parts of the province. Sialkot district in the prosperous northern part of the province has a poverty rate of 5.63%, while Rajanpur district in the poorest south has a poverty rate of 60.05%.
The major mother tongue spoken in Punjab is Punjabi, which represents the largest language spoken in the country. Punjabi is recognized as the provincial language of Punjab, but at the national level, it is not officially recognized in the constitution of Pakistan. Several languages closely related to Punjabi are spoken in this region. In the southern part of Punjab, the majority language is Saraiki, while in the north, Hindko and Pothwari dialects are spoken. Pashto is also spoken in some parts of Punjab, especially in the districts of Attock, Mianwali and Rawalpindi.
