I bring you warm greetings from my own part of the world (Nigeria), hope you are all doing good!, I'm so delighted to participate on this week "Best Diary Game" organized by @hive-180106 in this wonderful community, before then, I would love to invite @goodybest, @dave-hanny and @josepha to also participate.
On transit to the village.
Just after we vacate from school last week Friday Which is 13/12/2024, I decided to travel down to Zheun village in masaka to go see my grandmother, coz I promised her if I'm passing by I would love to branch and to see her, after we spoke on phone she was so happy to see me.

When I arrived on Friday, the following Morning, that's Saturday 14/12/2024 she welcome me in the morning with hot Kunu geda (groundnuts pap made with rice and other ingredients), it was so delicious 😋, then I decided to help her with some house chores like washing of clothes, plates, sweeping and keeping the house clean, actually we were born and trained on that aspect, especially been a male first born, cooking and keeping the house clean is our deal😊, coz our younger ones are still young, we need to step up to help our parents.

Cooking marathon.
In the afternoon, I decided to help my granny with cooking, fortunate enough it's a local dish, though I forgot how to make it bid by bid,

so I implore her (granny) to put me through,
I then start with pounding the local maggie (Dawdawa) and pepper, while the water is on fire preparing to put all the necessary ingredients.
However, after the soup then I set the pot on charcoal stuff to prepare the swallow (tuwo masara), though is not easy with the charcoal Sha, but I was able to do it Weller, coz I was a student before and I've been doing it before so is not new thing to me.
So when the food is fully ready I dish out for everyone his/her launch, nevertheless, it's dry season period and farming activities is less, beans has been picked also, so no stress in the village at the moment.

In the evening I decided to follow my granny for a crusade program which was organized at the village football Field, it's a very interesting revival and soul winning program,
The program features so many great ministers of God, like the Jonathan shekwelo, Apostle Joshua Johnson and miracles and healings were performed, it was wow, I enjoyed the program honestly, my coming to the village was highly blessed by this Men of God.
When I return from the crusade at about half past 8, I was famished 😢they said June baby's are foodies, I concur with that, coz if I'm hungry, I don't use to feel sleeping, I would be like my intestines would soon cut😢, so I decided to serve my stomach with Gari and sugarcane that night before I grab my bed, coz is late already and there's no any other alternatives.

I really liked your post and that you went to your grandmother's house, helped your grandmother with her work and helped her with her cooking, cooked your familiar and favorite food, which is much better because it feels much better to be able to work with all the family members and if you can help them, the family members are happy and when you are with them, you can spend a much happier time and moment,
