"Diary Food Captured with Yummy Thoughts!"

What makes your chosen dish so special to you?

I am always fond of Dahi Vada and firni was my longtime craving. As the combination is visually attractive and easily digestible and the carpet of colours which explodes in majesty.

What is the story of your food captured photos?

Today I attended a Haldi marriage party of my friend's daughter who is incidentally an state employee of California as an Investment advisor. It was held in Swabhiman The Heritage property of Kolkata about 17 Km from my home. We hired a car and reached the place at about 1:30PM. We gifted her a Bengal Jamdani Saree. We enjoyed the dance with music perfomed by the bride and groom. After half an hour we took our buffe lunch. I had one spoon of rice, two pieces of Dahi Vada, one navaratna patori, chole dal and one vetki fish paturi with green salad. I had one firni in earthenware, kulfi malai and one Nolan Gurer Sandesh. After having a sumptuous lunch we returned home at 3:30 PM.

What emotions do you wish to convey.

Firni was always in my bucket list. Whenever I went biryani or mogli food restaurant I saw a sweet dessert was displayed in a special place so that it is visible to customer. Unfortunately though I always wanted to try the food made of kher but I couldn't make it happen. it remained as an unfulfilled wish of mine. So the moment I saw it today I immediately grab it. It was really delicious as the colour and sweetness was so mouth smacking. I really missed it for so many years of life.

Dahi Vada is a item not so easy to make at home. As making the vada nighter too hard or so soft is difficult. It also requires too many associated chatni as well as special spices. Therefore right quality of Dahi Vada is not so easily available. However today's Dahi Vada was really perfectly balanced and matches of ingredients.
