The Diary game. A Day of Duties, Chill, and Historical Reflections

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are fine and enjoying your day. I wish for you all good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you yet another day of my life and I hope you all will get time to read and know about one more day of my life and also find it worthwhile to read and vote.

I went to sleep a little late last night, which made it difficult for me to wake up early this morning. As a result, I was quite late for the morning prayers and had to perform them alone at home. It was somewhat disappointing, but I couldn’t help it—I didn’t even wake up to the call for prayer from the nearby mosque. My eyes opened only after the sunlight pierced through the curtains and struck them, which is often the strongest factor that wakes me up, while even the loudest drums sometimes cannot.

After performing the morning prayers, I did some physical exercise to burn calories and keep myself fit and healthy. Offering morning prayers followed by exercise is a good combination for me, as it helps me stay positive, find peace, and maintain my health. Once I was done with all my chores, I took a hot shower and got ready for the office.

The weather was forecasted, and everyone was hopeful for some rain, as it has been more than a month since the last precipitation. I dived into the tasks assigned to me, including registering underprivileged individuals for the housing scheme. Today, I had to visit a work site to take measurements for framing the final bill to release payment in favor of the contractor who executed the work.

For this purpose, I had to wait for the technical staff until the afternoon. Meanwhile, I continued registering people who approached me to get themselves enrolled. The village where I’ve been posted is quite chilly, and working there can be tiring at times. Today, I felt that exhaustion again while walking across the village to capture photographs of the sites required by the PMAY portal.

Later in the day, I accompanied the technical staff to take the necessary measurements to ensure the bill could be prepared on time, allowing for the prompt release of payment. Completing the billing process within the stipulated timeframe serves as an incentive for contractors, encouraging them to deliver better work in the future.

Later in the day, I returned home with tired legs and was also feeling cold due to the chilly weather. To get some relief, I had a cup of warm tea and turned on the electric heat blower. I managed to take a short nap, and after waking up, I went to check on the newly bought plants I had installed to enhance the aesthetics of my house.

Unfortunately, I noticed that one of the plants, which had just started sprouting new leaves, had turned yellowish—an indication of weakness or possibly dryness. To help it recover and regain its green color, I watered the plant with the hope that it would grow healthier again.

Later in the day, I read a few chapters of Indian modern history and learned about our ancestors who put in their efforts to make India free, giving its people the opportunity to live in sovereignty without external interference. Reading about the courage they displayed on the battlefields gave me goosebumps. It’s always fascinating to explore such historical events that ultimately led to India’s freedom from foreign rule.

Later in the night, I retired to bed and called it a day.

It was all about my day.Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
