My country is Nigeria which is a democratic country that is headed by a president and not a prime minister. However, if I become a prime minister, which is like a president in my country for just 24 hours, I will focus on the things that are going to be impactful for long-term changes rather than just taking actions that are symbolic that wouldn't last long or impactful to my people. The 5 things that I would do would be the following:
Create an emergency law:
I will create a law that would be 100% transparent in political funding to stop corruption and thrive on undisclosed money in my country. I will make that I enforce a strict law that would mandate all the political parties and their candidates to declare all of their funding on the government portal for Nigerians to be aware of l, which I will leave no loopholes untouched.Stop Unnecessary VIP culture
I will stop the numbers of security that are following politicians and businessmen in the country, which are causing traffic, making government officials live exactly like the people they are representing so there would be no stealing of funds. Also, I will make the use of public transport mandatory for my ministers at least once a week to keep them connected with the people whom they are representing.I will ensure high-profile corrupt officials pay for their crimes
Any justice that is delayed would be denied, and any politicians, corporate leaders, or bureaucrats accused of corruption involving public funds would have to pay and apologize to Nigerians.Improves economy
I will enact a law for industries to be created across the 36 states in Nigeria the industries would be based on what is produced mostly in each of the 36 states to boost Nigeria's economy.Regulate Crypto
Crypto trading is gaining momentum each day, which I will regulate and use to generate income for Nigerians rather than trying to fight those involved.
I am inviting: @dave-hanny, @woka-happiness, and @vickson
