As human being it always good to hope for the best at the same time try to expect the worst so that when it happens, you won't get much disappointed like when you are not expecting anything, just like you said the food was not as tasty as we were expecting and you did not have enough fun as planned, the moral lesson is that don't always expect more from somebody instead expect less, but anyways am so sorry for the disappointment and boring day, just wishing success and good luck in this contest.
