Hi everyone,
It's another day of the week, and I'm delighted to participate in this contest today organized by @suboohi, which talks about 1 Picture 1 Story Week #65. I will be making my entry below, so read through it and drop your valuable comment, as it will be appreciated.
Two little children Mary and Janet grew up in a lonely village where they were kept isolated from other kids because of the are consider an 'osu' which is the word for an outcast in the Igbo land. They are called outcast because half of their parents where from Nigeria and the others were from Europe.
This colour difference made them isolated from others as they feel that they blacks can inflict their skin with their colour. This continue for a while and at some point they became very lonely until it came to a time when they had a horse as a friend.
Since no one is allowed to come to them they decided to make a friend with a horse and as they did that, it became their only companion and they are always happy with it as the horse comes to them every day to spend some time with them.
On this special day, what happened was they they horse came to tell them that his owner is taking him away from the locality to a new locality they were all sad and angry because their only friend is about to be taken away from them. They cried and pleaded with him to stay back but he told them he has no power of his own as his owner has complete authority.
On hearing this the children became very emotional and then rushed to their parent and pleaded with them to come buy the horse so that he doesn't leave them since he is the only friend that they have.
Considering the demand of the children, the parents went ahead and negotiated with the owner of the horse and then bought it for their children's and they image above shows how the were joyful with the horse because he has become part of their family.
I want to invite @josepha, @simonnwigwe, and @bonaventure24, to join the contest in this community and share their entry participation.
