What is meditation? How is it useful for our health?


Meditation is a peaceful activity that helps us reduce our stress, anxiety, etc. So if you want to reduce your stress and get rid of bad habits and bad feelings, meditation is the best option. Meditation keeps your mind clear and healthy. A person who meditates daily can increase his willpower and be mentally sound.

According to my research, meditating for 5 minutes a day can reduce your stress by 60 to 70 percent. Different people have their own ways of meditating; for Muslims, meditating refers to prayer, dhikr, etc. A person can get many benefits from meditation; some of them are listed below.

  • Makes us positive

Its first benefit is that it removes bad thoughts from our mind, makes us positive, and creates positive thinking in us, which is very good for our health.

  • Increases our willpower

If we meditate daily and make it our routine, it greatly increases our willpower, which is very beneficial for our health. So meditation is a good thing to increase our willpower.

  • Strong mind

One of the advantages of meditation is that if we do it, it makes our mind completely strong. because it eradicates all bad things from our mind.

  • Reduces stress

Stress is something that, in excess, destroys a person from within. So this thing helps us a lot to eliminate our stress. because I personally experience it and it's great.

  • Increases our confidence

Self-esteem is a huge thing. People who meditate have a great chance of increasing their confidence levels. A confident man can achieve anything.

  • Reduces bad emotions

Another good benefit of meditation is that it removes bad emotions from our mind and gives good emotions to our mind, which is quite helpful for us.



What are the basic guidelines of meditation for a beginner?


  • As a beginner, one should first find a solitary place and sit comfortably there.
  • As a beginner, one should close their eyes and take deep breaths for meditation.
  • As a beginner, one must become aware of sensations during meditation.
  • As a beginner, one should concentrate on his or her thoughts.
  • Focus on your breath and open your eyes; this is the last step of a good meditation.


How do you practise every day?


As a Muslim, I do a number of activities to practise meditation, some of which are listed in the points below.

Prayer


  • By Prayers

As a Muslim, it is our duty to pray five prayers throughout the day. There is so much peace in prayer, and it is a very good activity. God says that whoever prays, I free him from the sorrows and worries of the world. So praying is my first activity to practise meditation.

  • Recitation of Quran Pak

Another activity that I do is recite the Holy Quran, and the peace it brings to my heart by reciting the Holy Quran is indescribable. We can do this activity at any time of the day, and we can control our stress to a great extent. It is peaceful. The holy book is really good for meditation.

  • Doing Zikar

Doing zikar is also a very important form of worshipping God, and this activity also gives a lot of peace. I do this activity throughout the day because I do Zikar for God whenever I remember. So that's another activity that I do to practise meditation, and it really helps me a lot in times of stress.



What kind of good result do you find in your body after meditation?


The peace my heart feels after meditating is so good and gives so many benefits to my health too; some of them are listed below.

  • The first good result is that it keeps my mind clear and free from bad thoughts.
  • Every time I do this, it helps me reduce my stress a lot. It's good for reducing stress.
  • After doing this activity, my mind comes under my control, and I make better decisions.
  • After doing this activity, my confidence increases a lot, and positive thoughts come to mind.
  • It makes my brain much stronger, and my willpower increases to a great extent.
  • My heart gets a lot of peace, and my attitude also becomes positive towards everyone.

So these are some good results I feel after meditation. This activity is absolutely peaceful.

You have described all the benefits very precisely in a very beautiful manner. It's my personal opinion that everybody should do this activity in order to keep themselves mentally and physically strong.

Coming towards basic guidelines, you have mentioned it in such an effective way that it will be easy for beginners to understand & proceed. In the last part, I liked your style of mentioning all the goof results one can get by meditating daily. It not only gives us inner peace but also helps us build our confidence.

Ismy koi shak nahi ha k meditation hamary liye bht zyada mufeed haz or ye hamy bht si chezo se door karti ha jesa k stress, bad emotions or bht si dosri chzy. Meri post par har bar ki tarah ek acha tabsara karny k lyee apka bht bht shukria. Allah pak apko hamesha hansta muskarata rakhy or apko mazeed taraki dy.
