The Digital Connection & influence of devices in our lives

Yes I love technology and the digital life that comes with it. It makes life a lot easier. I am a digital immigrant and can tell what it looked like before the introduction of this digital life.
We sometimes embarked on a journey from the village to the city to meet a relative, and on arriving, we are told my the neighbors that he traveled two days ago, and will be back in a week. In today's warld of technology, you call in advance to make sure. Such disappointment was part of our normal life. So yes I love technology, I would be a better student if the computers, internet and cellular phones was available in my school days.

I made a lot of use of my phone, and Steemit has made it worse. But unlike the digital natives of today, I use my phone as a tool and I am not addicted to it.
I use my Nokia C30 to communicate with others through calls and chats, I have apps installed in my phone that helps with my work, and some are there for recreational purposes.

I use maps when driving, locating places or describing a location to someone. I use it to Steem, engage in research and make some discoveries. The phone also keeps me informed.

With an Android phone at hand, I feel almost invincible. I can easily look up things, google lens is so amazing. It's easy to work and get entertained when I am down using the same device. it's becoming like an extension of my brain making me a lot more confident.
With a phone, my capacity to accomplish and solve problems is multiplied five to ten times.

I feel a little inadequate when am not with the phone and my efficiency is reduced by 50% without a phone. Right now I am using my phone, and if it was replaced with a PC which can do the same function, I will still be missing the phone. So I will admit that I am developing a lot of dependency on the phone. You can call it an adiction to this tool.
