Church: My View, Myself Wk26".

Warm salutations my fellow steemians, Before proceeding, I'll love to express my happiness 😊 in being among those participating in this wonderful and relatable contest. We are being told to express our idea about the word "Church" basically the word church and Christianity goes hand-in-hand with each other. A crowd of Christians having or sharing the same Christian beliefs makes up a church when they gather in a place for Christian activities. However, a church isn't a person or group of persons, but an avenue or place for Christian activities to take place.

A Church is basically a place where Christians either within the same community or from different communities gather or come together to worship God. Put simply, a church is a Christian house of worship, where Christian religious activities take place. The word church makes up the life of every Christian, I mean an individual cannot call him or her self a Christian and yet doesn't goes to church, such actions will be detrimental to the Christian living. The word church takes it's root in the Greek word "κυριακόν" (kyriakon) meaning "of the Lord" also in Greek "κυριακόνδῶμα" (kyriakon doma) was a denotation of a place where Christians gather to worship God. It's important to know that Christ Jesus is the head of the church, and he oversees all activities going on in the church, the Bible makes it clear that we shouldn't forsake our church attendance, because doing so can stumble others and also ruin the christian life in ourselves.

Literally speaking, I come from a very religious household, and there's absolutely no day that goes by, that we don't study and meditate on the Bible scriptures. Precisely speaking, everyday at about 5:00am in the morning, we conduct family worship and also pray 🙏. The name of my church is Jehovah Witnesses and I have been a regular member of this church for about 22 years (since from birth) i am an attendant in my church, which simply means I must go to church every church day (Sundays and Mondays) apart from this, I am a regular church goer .My church is characterized by so many attributes and features of which I'll love to discuss two. First, simplicity: my church is so simple in all aspects, we do not complicate things and we try to accommodate as much interested persons as possible, other churches might mandatorily request their members to always come with offering (monetary donation/contribution) each worship days to church, but in my church monetary donations are not mandatory but voluntary. The second aspect truth we base all our teaches in the Bible, unlike most religions we do not try to omit or try to add to what's already written in the Bible. We view Christ as the head of the church, and Christ Jesus by means of God's word the Bible have made in provision the various ways and strategies to maintain and sustain the church.

Just as physical food benefits the body physically, also spiritual food benefits the body spiritually. Going to church helps us benefit from this spiritual food prepared by God and his son Jesus Christ. As we sing, read and meditate on the Bible scriptures in church, we obviously are benefiting from that spiritual food. We reside in a very bad and heartless world 🌎 filled with so much disappointment, trials, and challenges. Moreover, the only place we find comfort and healing to the wounds caused to us by this world's problems in at the church, where we can see, interact and also share experiences with people who share the same faith and dilemma with us. Going to church is also a good source of encouragement as we learn how to be our best selves despite being in this distressful world.

I would love to go to church with my mentor @bossj23 one of the newest and youngest curator on the steemit platform. We share the same belief, we are also in the same church, but we are not going to the same church branch. I would love him to come to my branch, and convince the young guys there on how steemit is a great and engaging platform, filled with so much earning and growth potentials. Anyways that would be a future negotiation.
