Best Diary Game Of The Week [27/09/2024] Delivering an urgent work in a short time

Beautiful evening my beloved steemians across the globe, it's your favorite girl @missyleo, I hope you didn't forget about me, as I'm always thinking about you all and that's why I am excited to be here to share my yesterday daily routine with you all.

Before I proceed with my writing I will first of all give a shout-out to my dear admin @hive-180106 for your constant and resilient spirit in keeping this very contest alive, thank you.

Working on a client dress

Yesterday was a stressful one but still beautiful for me because I was able to do something outstanding despite the stress I went through yet I didn't feel it as anything compared to the beautiful sight of it.

I woke up early as usual at about 5:30am, said my morning prayer and when about to attain to my morning chores and balso get myself prepared for work.

After I was down with cleaning up the house I went straight to take my bath, dressed up then dashed into the kitchen to prepare breakfast and also prepare my lunch to work

After I finished taking my breakfast I carried my working bag and off I went to work. As I got to my place of work, I saw only my senior colleague busy marking and cutting a fabric.

So I dropped my bag, and began to clean up the shop I'm my heart o was wondering what she didn't do the cleanup like sweeping the shop first before she proceed with what she is doing.

After I was done and she took was done in cutting the first fabric and I she was removing the second fabric to mark and cutting, so I draw closer to the marking table inorder to see what she is doing and possibly ask questions on where I don't understand, but before I could even go near the table she said to me that I will be handling the sewing of the first fabric she has finished cutting, that it is an urgent work and that the owner is a new client, that's she brought the two fabrics the previous day for sewing and deli the next day.

So I ask her if madam and the other of our colleagues, she told me that madam call her that she won't be coming to shop that day and the others took permission the previous day to be absent, so it was just the two of us in the shop and to also worsen the situation, there's an urgent work to deliver.

The funniest part of it is that it's not everything that I know about the sewing, I am still learning and will I used a customer's fabric to do my learning🙆, wahala.

That was how I began working on the fabric as I was taught and any place that I get confused I will draw the attention of my senior colleague to help out.

We were just flowing smoothly, not until one of our old clients came in and demanded for her dresses, it was about 5 dresses of her that we were to deliver, so four of it were ready while one hasn't been touch yet.

So when she starts using them one after the other to see how fitting it is on her, one of it was too short for her awhile one of it, the zip just got spoiled in her hand since she wasn't gentle with it.

Now, that was another problem because we have to loosen one of it and rework on it while the other one needs to be fixed a new zip and we don't have such time to waste on any kind of amendment because we have received a call from the new client that she is on her way to pick up the dress.

It was after afternoon, infact getting to evening and hunger was calling us by our names. So I just toldy senior colleague let's pause first and eat small before that woman comes if not, when she comes we will not have that time to eat again and there was no strength in me to continue sewing with putting something in my stomach, already my legs were shaking on the machine.

As I brought out the food I brought, my colleague went to buy us soft drink so that we can use in garnishing the rice, after we were done eating, we continue from where we stopped on the sewing.

In the next few hours I was able to be through with the sewing and then the owner of the dress just walked in and was impressed by our work but a little disappointed because the second one was still not ready yet.

We tried to calm the client down, to exercise patience that we will finish the work soon. She actually had an event which she needs to wear that particular dress to and that made her so tense and worried.

But last last we were able to finish her dress and she took it away though we really delayed her time. When we settled and ate left we now faced other customers and reshaped their clothes for them.

I had two stay in the shop till 7pm that's beyond my closing time just because I wanted to make it up to the old customer by amending their clothes for them.

After I was done with them I pack my bag and left the shop back to my house, on my way home I had to stop by the roadside to buy cucumber before heading home.

As I got home, I quickly freshened up before looking for a solid food to eat because hunger wasn't my friend. After making food to eat I was relieved and tried to lay small on the bed, but before I could realized myself, I have slept off.
