Weekly Contest - Best Diary Game|| Experiencing boredom at work [06/02/2025]

Warm greetings my beloved steemians across the globe, it's a wonderful thing to be here with you all, happy weekend to you all. It's a pleasure to participate in this diary contest being organized by our admin @hive-180106, I say kudos to you Sir fir always being so consistent in your work.

As I woke up by 6am that yesterday morning, I tried to tidy up some things in my room and then rushed to take a shower before brushing my teeth. When I was done with all my morning chores, I had to prepare something to eat for breakfast and also arrange and package the one for lunch too.

Since it's been long I took custard and I have it at home, so I decided to prepare it and eat.
I also check on the woman that used to fry akara in the next compound to know if she has fry akara that yesterday, luckily to me, she has fries it and this time around it was big in shade, so I got for myself and then went back to the house to prepare my custard.

When I was done taking my breakfast I quickly prepared what I will be taking to work to eat for lunch. It was garri and soup that I prepared, so I took it and left for work.

As I got to the office, the rest of my colleagues have arrived before me, they will busy doing the cleaning and arrangements, so I joined them in making sure everywhere was clean and tidy up.

After we were done with it, we now settled in our different section. We were hoping and being expectant of more sales, it was unfortunate that since that morning period till afternoon, our lunch break period, there was no single customer that came around to purchase goods.

So we went out to eat out launch, I and one of my colleague.

We took a little longer in the eating room, that's because I and my colleague were just gisting on how sales are so dull this period, my colleague then said that she is worried and scared, I asked her why, she said that the low sales should not make our boss not to pay us January salary because she has a lot to buy with that money.

As funny as it may sound but there's an atom of truth there, because to be sincere we haven't really have enough sales the past month (January), but I still believe they will pay us our full salary when the time comes.

When we come back into the office back to our section, it was so boring and dull, because there was no customers coming in to check stuff, even if they are not buying at least they should just do window shopping and we will know that at least customers came and they didn't see what the want or maybe they complained of the price being higher than their budget, so that I can have what to write down on my report book.

That was how we stayed so quietly till the closing hour 6pm, we just stood up and did the packing in and locked the office door before we went back home.

Before we all depart to our different homes, I decided to take some selfie with my colleagues, one of them is a steemian too.

After taking the selfie, we now parted ways. I got home quite early l, I was able to go so one or two things in the house before the night covered and I went and took my shower before retiring to bed.

You might be wondering if I didn't take dinner before going to bed, yes I did not feel like eating, I think the boredom from work has affected my appetite, so I didn't think of eating, I just wanted to rest my brain and sleep.
