Hello guys! I hope all of you are in good health and good mood. My name is Munaza Malik from #Pakistan and I'm back to participate in the One Picture One Story competition, that is well organized by ma'am @suboohi. So let's start,

^{My First Phone}

The title for this One Picture One Story is my First Mobile Phone. Mobile phones are now very common and almost everyone has a mobile phone now. If you have read my articles before you might know that I'm the youngest among all my siblings. And definitely growing up I used to see my brothers and sisters using their mobiles. Chit chatting with friends and playing games, watching movies and all. At that time, I was a kid and always used to fantasize about having my own personal mobile phone.

Because I used to get either my sister's or brother's phone to use for playing games and all, but as soon as it used to ring for a notification or a call they used to snatch it away without ever bothering how I would feel. Ok but now let us just leave the sad part of the story and jump to the other side. It was a lazy day, I was in an average mood when in the late afternoon my father came home. Earlier that morning he saw me and my elder sister fighting on her phone and I guess he didn't feel right. So as soon as he entered into the house my elder sister brought him a glass of water and he immediately asked her about me and told her to call me.

She came to my room and told me that BABA is calling you. I stepped out of my bed and went to the lounge where Baba was sitting. He called me and told me to sit beside him, I was a bit nervous as I thought he might have received some sort of complaint, anyhow I immediately acted and sat next to him on the couch. He kissed my forehead and grabbed my hand and with his other hand he handed over a nice small gift bag which had a box inside it. To my surprise it was a mobile phone and I got really very excited about it and I hugged Baba, kissing on my head he said, Go play. I said thank you and came back to my room and as soon as I knew no one was watching, I started jumping in excitement that feeling was something different from the feeling when I buy a new phone now. Because at that time, I was always feeling left behind because I had no phone and my other siblings had theirs.

There was no day when I didn't think about having my own phone and now I have a phone in my hand. I opened the box with excitement took out phone switched it on placed the back cover and that is when I took this picture. Finally, the wait was over and I was very happy. I downloaded apps made accounts reached my friends, told them about my phone and promised to give them a treat.

If I look back at that time now I feel happy and I think that's why is it that now I don't feel that excited and what has changed? And I realised that the longer you have to wait to get something the more thankful and happy you get after having it. And if you start getting everything as soon as you wish for it, it doesn't have that much of value. And because of it have came to the conclusion that if they're are no tears and pain you can never get the true taste of joy and happiness.
