Everyone must have problems in her life. The problem arises from an unsettled mind. There are people who when their minds are not calm, spend a lot of time in nightclubs, alone in their rooms, and even those who end their lives because they think that the problems they are facing have no way out.

The problem comes from the brain. And the best way to get rid of it is to calm the mind. Alcohol and the like are only able to sabotage reason so that we forget for a moment the problems we are facing. The right solution is to do meditation.

Meditation is a form of practice to calm the mind. The goal is to gain inner peace, comfort, and productivity. This exercise is generally done by sitting still, closing your eyes, and adjusting your breathing slowly and regularly for about 20 minutes.

In general, meditation helps relax the mind, creates inner peace, reduces stress, and eliminates fatigue and muscle tension. Meditation also helps manage symptoms of certain health conditions such as insomnia, heart disease, and digestive problems.

{ What are the basic guidelines of meditation for a beginner? }

For beginners, here are some tips that need to be done so that the benefits of meditation are perfect.

  • Calm
    Calm your mind when you have sat down. This can be done by emptying the mind while sitting. Sit in a comfortable position. Everyone has a difference in terms of sitting comfort.

  • Regulate breathing
    Try to inhale deeply until your belly expands, then exhale slowly. Do it repeatedly for three minutes to get calm.

  • Keep your mind focused. Then, focus your mind on the breath going in and out of your body.

  • And done

Meditation can be done by anyone. This activity does not require any special equipment or costs. If we can do it regularly, meditation will help support mental and physical health. I don't meditate every day. I only do it once a week after doing fitness exercises.

I found peace of mind and my focus point returned to normal. Apart from making the mind calm, meditation also makes our emotions more controlled so that we are not easily emotional and act rashly. However, remember. To maintain a healthy body, you also need to get enough rest, exercise regularly, and stay away from smoking and alcoholic beverages.
