What do you understand by the word Phone?
Phone to my understanding is a device used for communicating by the use of voice or through text transmitted from one person to another person or group known to be the receivers.
But phones today has gone beyond calling other people or messaging. Phones like Android for example have the capability of accepting application softwares which are programmed for different purpose.
These apps are programmed to instruct the phone in other to operate in a very unique way so as to achieve a particular define task.
The advent of this application softwares has improved the usage of phone from mare making calls or messaging to include browsing the internet and social media activities among many other functions.
Phone is almost substituting the use of laptops and many other devices in different areas of endeavors, for example the banking sector has invented bank application softwares which allows you to communicate to the bank without necessarily visiting the bank. You can transfer your money to any destination of your choice, as well as withraw, recharge without going to the bank.

What's the name of your phone, why do you like it?
The name of my phone is TECNO Spark 4 (KC8)
TECNO is a company that is well known in standard. I have used different type of TECNO phones and I really enjoyed them. Generally I love TECNO products for some unique reasons which prompted me to go for TECNO Spark 4 some years ago.
I bought it brand new, Spark 4 has speed because of it 2GB Random Access Memory (RAM) which was the biggest RAM capacity when I purchased the phone. Also, the battery is very strong than other Android phones back then.
It ability to accept different applications unlike windows phones was one among other reasons I like it. Spark 4 also have a large storage capacity, it has about 32GB which allows you to store many files without the use of any external memory like SD card. The camera is also very good and it has a high quality screen resolution.

My phone is outdated, I wish to have something current or better. The screen already has damaging impact, the battery is no more strong like before which is affecting my engagement with other steemians on steemit.
The phone looks old physically that I am using poush to cover the body in other to make it look presentable. Finally, it has always been having issues a lot, from one repairs to another.
With the little challenge as highlighted above, I will like to challenge @bossj23 to get a new phone for me.
