INTRODUCTION

Hello there great Pakistan people how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you are all having a good time, today I will be participating in a contest organised by @artist1111 with the theme "caring for our natural resources"

As the inhabitants of earth it is our sole responsibility to take very good care of our natural resources because no one else will be ready to do that for us

---

And in my today's entry I will be sharing with you guys how we can reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, some effective strategies in managing waste products and lastly how we all can work together to create a greener and more sustainable future for all of us and our childrens.

HOW CAN WE REDUCE OUR RELIANCE ON FOSSIL FUELS?

---

Reducing human reliance on fossil fuel would be the most difficult transition in the history of mankind but before we continue some of you might be confused on what we really mean by fossil fuels but don't worry I will explain

FOSSIL FUELS

---

Fossil fuels are energy source which are non renewable that are originated from prehistoric plants and animals dead body part gradually buried by layers of rocks and they include coal, petroleum, natural gas, oil shales, bitumens, tar sands etc

---

So now that we all know what fossil fuels are, now according to my own knowledge and opinion I will be sharing with you all how to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels

---

The following are some of the things that would help reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and there are;

---

• Solar panels
• Electric cars
• Energy storage system

SOLAR PANELS

---

Try as much as possible to mount on our roof top a solar panel do as to be able to generate more and renewable energy instead of depending on oil and gas which can't be renewed

ELECTRIC CARS

---

As we all know that electric cars are the type of cars that do not burn fuels rather they used electrical energy to locomote movement, and with the help of solar energy it can be recharged and ready for use at any time

---

ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM

---

This would be very helpful in a situation whereby the energy generated by the solar system which has been over use will be stored and preserved here to be use especially at night were the sun isn't shining

---

All the above mentioned three steps will greatly help in reducing our reliance on fossil fuels because in terms of electricity instead of burning fuels and oils we have the solar panels to do the trick and the most interesting thing is that it's renewable

Also in terms of movement from one place to another they electric cars would be very effective because all you need do is to charge them with with the electricity 💡 generated from the solar panels and with that you can go anywhere way you wish to go without burning a single gallon of fuel

---

Also you might be saying what will we do in the night where solar panels won't be able to generate electricity, but here is way the energy storage system comes in handy which the energy stored there is always more than enough to take us all through the night still without burning a single fuel (fossil products)

WHAT ARE SOME EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES FOR RECYCLING AND WASTE MANAGEMENT?

In our today's world we humans have move thoroughly into production as a means of survival which results in the creation of more waste materials meanwhile some of the effective strategies for recycling and waste management are;

---

• Enhancing education and public awareness about the risk of improper waste disposal practice and the importance of waste management
• Preventing unnecessary disposals of waste in our environments
• Reusing items to avoid wastage
• Recycling waste items and materials to avoid wastage of materials

---

---

HOW CAN WE CREATE A GREENER AND MORE SUSTAINABLE FUTURE?

---

How we can create a greener and more sustainable future without reliance on fossil fuels is by working together and with the governments to ensure a smooth transition away from fossil fuels and towards the direction were the process of generating power won't be on burning fuels and oils

---

The government should also try and invest much in solar energy all across the nation in other to help reduce the total nations dependent on fossil fuels for energy supply and thus creating a safe environment for everyone, an environment free from carbon monoxide from machines and noise from vehicles

---

And also there is need for us to promote the need for electric vehicles and machines and also urged the government to set up infrastructures for charging them at affordable prices to avoid to much reliance on fossil fuels in other to be able to carry out movement

---

CONCLUSION

There's indeed a very big need to reduce the reliance on fossil fuels especially in my country Nigeria as government has just stop fuel subsidy which is making petroleum products to be very expensive thus causing the cost of transportation to be very expensive

---
