What do you understand by the word Grandfather?

Grandfather refers to the father of your mom or your dad. Every human being usually has two grandfathers, one from the maternal side and the other from the paternal side. They can equally be called Granny or grandpa

Is your grandfather still alive, if no, tell us what led to his death, if yes, tell us how he's doing.

None of my grandfathers is alive. My Paternal grandpa was long dead before they gave birth to me and I don't know really much about him. I heard he died after a brief sickness. My Maternal grandfather lived long, he died at the ripe age of 95.

Before his death, he had six surviving children, 25 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was a peaceful and contented man. When he was alive, he didn't had much, but the little he had he shared with people. I can still remember how he always gives me money and foodstuffs anytime I go to the Village to see him.

He was also a truthful man who always stood for the truth at all times. He died at 95 in the year 2020 after a brief illness. Before his death, he was complaining that he wants to die that non of his mates is still in the World. He was very strong even at his death bed. I miss him so much.

Where I stay currently is a new area and so it is mostly dominated by Young people.

Tell us about the best advice you have received from an old man.

The best advice I received from an old man was from my Maternal grandfather. He told me that good name is better than riches that no matter what, I should always choose integrity over richness. He also told me the importance of forgiveness and also the story of how a colleague betrayed his trust. He told me that he forgave his because he noticed that his peace and happiness was tied to that.

Conclusion
Grandfather's are amazing creature that deserves to be celebrated for the numerous sacrifice they made when they were younger. I wish I still had mine with me today.
